Going 'All In': Comatozze Soars to Hottest New Creator Crown |
|
This is the cover story of the February issue of AVN magazine. LOS ANGELESâSometimes when the creator known as Comatozze goes out sheâs reminded that her online presence may be bigger than she realizes. Itâs become just about impossible for her to go unnoticed in public. âFinally, I can share this!â Comatozze, aka UmaNorth, says with a laugh. âI get recognized all the time, everywhere, even when I look totally ordinary. âIt goes to show I have no clue how many people know us. Not everyone comes up, but that surprised look is unmistakable. It ramped up when we showed our faces in videos.â She might as well get used to the attention because it will only continue as her stature in adult entertainment grows. Now without question one of the industryâs most prominent breakout stars, Comatozze is entering February with the momentum of winning her first AVN trophy in January, claiming the Fan-Voted AVN Award for Hottest New Creator at the 43rd annual ceremony on Jan. 24 at The Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. While she wasnât able to attend in person, she says capturing that crown means the world to her. âAVN is the most serious and prestigious award in the adult industryâoften called the âOscar of porn.â Just being nominated is already strong recognition from industry professionals,â Uma says. âIt motivates me to keep working at a high level, set new goals and continue improving. When youâre noticed among the best, it gives an extra push to make your work even better and more interesting. Itâs simply a solid incentive to keep moving forward and aim higher.â Her AVN triumph comes on the heels of receiving her first Pornhub Award in May 2025, when she took home the Most Popular Couple trophy at the 7th annual show in West Hollywood, Calif. âFor me and my husband, it means a ton,â Comatozze says. âWe havenât been at this long, but weâve already snagged that title, and I hope we keep winning more!â Indeed, the 21-year-oldâwho will turn 22 later this yearâauthored a sensational 2025, becoming the top-ranked amateur on Pornhub's list of Most Popular Models in the fall and finishing the year as the No. 1 Most Viewed Amateur Model on the mega platform. At press time, she had amassed 668 million video views and 1.1 million subscribers on 160 video uploads on the most trafficked site in adult. âWeâre thrilled to hit those numbers and aim for even more,â Uma says. âIt was wild seeing ourselves at No. 1ânot because we were comparing to others, but because we grew up on this site and itâs still mind-blowing to spot our faces at the top. We noticed it in September 2025. In mid-2025, we werenât even in the top 10 models, so the growth feels insane.â Alex Kekesi, the vice president of brand and community at Pornhub, tells AVN âweâre proud to celebrate creators who embody authenticity, passion, and dedication.â âComatozze exemplifies these qualities through her genuine connection with fans across platforms, earning her the title of #1 Most Viewed Amateur Model for 2025 and Most Popular Couple at the 7th annual Pornhub Awards,â Kekesi says. âThese remarkable achievements highlight her impact and popularity within our community and serve as inspiration for creators everywhere. Weâre proud to support those who set the standard for excellence and innovation in adult entertainment.â Uma and her spouse started posting explicit videos on Pornhub two years ago, going into it just for the thrill without any real strategy. She describes her viral content as ârealistic with a bit of humor.â âIt wasnât planned,â Comatozze tells AVN. âWe were just being ourselves and that became our niche. âWe create plots anyone can relate to, like one where I meet a âsubscriber.â Fans liked it, so we stuck with that storytelling styleâitâs become our signature.â She estimates that theyâve shot over 200 scenes in the past two years after first hearing it might be possible to make money from homemade videos. âIt was exciting and fun, but we took it seriously,â Uma explains. âWe started looking into filming equipment and stuff. Weâd sit and brainstorm plotsâit was hilarious. âWeâd reshoot the talking parts 10 times because weâd crack up laughing. Now filming is way easier, but we still pause sometimes from laughing, though you wouldnât know it.â Self-taught when it comes to producing and shooting, Comatozze says she and her partner always are finding new ways to increase their quality. âBut basically, we got a good camera, set angles that looked nice, and just started filming!â she explains. âWeâll keep aiming higher and not drop the ball.â Uma says the decision to go for it just made sense. âAt some point, we realized we had everything we needed to try this outâweâve got each other. Home, comfort, two people having fun, no need to go anywhere. Just grab the camera and shoot. So one day, we just did it,â she adds. Sometimes Comatozze shoots 20 videos in a month; other times, it might only be two or three. Just about every one of her videos is into the multimillions in views. One of them from four months ago titled âStep Sis just wanted to watch TV, but this happened...â had 14.5 million views at press time. Another one from seven months agoâtitled "I just asked my stepbrother to give me a massage..."âhas soared to 21.7 million views. âOur shooting schedule isnât always consistent,â she admits. âBut we upload on a strict scheduleâfive videos a month. We often produce them in a day; we donât overthink the plots much. Thatâs usually just the theme, while most chats are pure improv, which brings real reactions, arguments, and genuine emotions.â Uma tells AVN she wants to clear up some misinformation thatâs out there about when she began her content journey. âThereâs this rumor online that we started the account [on Pornhub] in 2019, but thatâs fake,â she assures. âWe created it in February 2024, and a month later, we were uploading videos regularly. Right when we shot our first ones, I was just turning 19.â Comatozze concealed her identity in her earlier clips. âI think everyone remembers when we started without showing faces, carving out a super homey, cozy-vibe niche,â Uma says. âSo one top video is like a natural snapshot of real relationships with love in the mix. âWhen we revealed our faces, it blew up the charts. Now the hits have great preview images with clear faces but bodies fans recognize. I figure thatâs what viewers had been waiting for, and it gave us a huge boost.â The soft-spoken bombshell says that no matter what it is, sheâs the type of person who fully commits. âOnce I dive into something, I go all in,â Comatozze says. âProbably because I like feeling confident and in control of my life. Iâm not unique in that, sure, but what sets me apart is that if you bump into me on the street, youâll see a modest person who might not even chat about their day.â âEven in our videos, playing different characters, I stay true to myselfâfunny and straightforward,â Uma continues. âI love trying on roles and situations; itâs real creativity! Like I said before, I enjoy expressing myself through artâdrawing, photography, poetryâand now acting adds to that.â She considered the news of her first AVN Award nominationâfinding out in Decemberââa wake-up call.â âHonestly, we didnât find out about the nomination ourselvesâour subscribers told us. Pretty funny!â she says. âThen we checked it out and were pleasantly surprised.â Now she loves the creative freedom that comes with making content. âTrying on different situations and roles,â Uma says. âNot many think about it, but some plots even shape our psyches. After shoots, we reflect and talk about stuff most people skip, like taboo themes: cheating, office flings, stranger interactions. We get to experience it without the real dealâitâs self-discovery via role-play. We live it like real actors, helping us understand characters and ourselves.â Speaking of self-discovery, Uma says that sheâs gained more confidence since becoming a creator. âHonestly, before this, I never imagined Iâd be attractive to so many people,â Comatozze says. âI knew my strengths, but the competition in looks-based fields is fierce, with tons of beautiful, talented colleagues. So thanks to our loyal fans for helping me see myself differently.â Uma tells AVN her current career is a stark contrast to what she thought sheâd be doing by this time. She dreamed of becoming a doctor since childhood. âAnd I even planned to go to university to study surgery,â Comatozze says. âAt 15, I decided to train as a nail artist and opened a small beauty studio. My skills grew over time, and by 18, I had a pretty good income, so I figured, why bother with medical school? But surgery still seems really cool to meâitâs like a nice distant dream now. Maybe someday Iâll get back to it.â Uma tells AVN she loved her job as a nail artist because it allowed her to be creative. âPlus, I really enjoyed making people happy and beautiful,â Uma adds. When sheâs not working, the Europe-based star finds happiness indulging in all forms of art. âConceptual stuff, modern self-expression trends. I can spend forever at exhibitions. I paint with oils myselfâmaybe youâll see that side of me someday,â Uma says. âBut thatâs not all; I dig active stuff, too: horseback riding, [Stand Up Paddle Boarding], long hikes in pretty spots, and more. It energizes me and connects me to nature!â Even though her Instagram handle is @umaanorthâshe had 2.4 million followers at press timeâshe says that âComatozze is definitely the more recognizable name, as far as I can tell.â âWhen we came up with the nickname Comatozze, we had no clue how tricky itâd be for some people to grasp it,â Uma says. âWeâve seen all kinds of versions: Cometuza, Komatoza, Kotamoza, and so on. It still cracks us up to this day. Sometimes it feels like weâve seen every possible jumble of those letters, but some fans on social media keep surprising us every single day.â Aside from her native language, she can speak a decent amount of English. âNot perfectly, but Iâm working on it bit by bit,â Uma says. âI also love traveling and learning about different cultures and countries, so I want to pick up Spanish, Italian, and maybe more someday! Life could take me anywhere on the planet, so weâll see!â As she looks ahead, she says 2026 is about going harder and higher. âItâd be cliché to say weâll keep pushing to the top, getting better than everyoneâsure, there are no limits to improvement and we always aim high,â Uma adds. âBut really, we donât expect non-stop success⦠Weâre realistic about new stars rising and old ones fading in any field. âSo weâll just keep putting out content to make people happy. The funâs in the doing, not just the wins. But I believe weâll be remembered.â
