Adult Star Blake Mitchell Dies in Motorcycle Accident |

OXNARD, Calif.âAdult star and former Helix Studios exclusive, Blake Mitchell, 31, was killed in a motorcycle accident on Monday afternoon, December 15, in the area of Raytheon Road and East Hueneme Road, in the Oxnard Plains, an agricultural area east of Pacific Coast Highway near the Channel Islands Air National Guard Station. California Highway Patrol arrived at the scene, where the crash had occurred between the motorcycle and a box truck, driven by a 32-year old who remained and to give officers a statement. The cause of the crash is still under investigation, but CHP said that both vehicles were westbound on Hueneme Road and crashed in the median of the road. Mitchell was pronounced dead at the scene. An online memorial for the Lexington, Kansas native, whose real name was Lane Vincent Rogers, was posted today and read, âLane Rogers was remembered by friends and family as someone who brought joy and laughter to every room he entered. âHis passion for life, kindness, and easygoing nature left a lasting impact on everyone around him. Whether through shared adventures, casual conversations, or moments of quiet support, Lane had a way of connecting with people and making them feel valued and appreciated. âThough his life was tragically cut short, Laneâs memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. His family, friends, and community will remember him for the happiness he shared, the friendships he nurtured, and the bright, generous spirit that defined him.â Liam Riley, CEO of the popular âPillowtalk with Ryan Pownallâ podcast, told AVN that Mitchell had just arrived in Los Angeles for scheduled collabs and that they had attended the L.A. Rams vs. Detroit Lions game on Sunday night. Mitchell, a big Rams fan, had season tickets and it was Rileyâs first time at a Rams game. Riley said he had also mentioned renting a motorcycle to ride while he was in town. As Blake Mitchell, he made his first appearances for Helix Studios in 2015, eventually becoming an exclusive model for the studio, as well as appearing in titles for Cockyboys.com and Bel Ami. With a muscular physique and bespectacled, preppy school boy good looks, Mitchell was quickly a fan favorite in the âtwunkâ category. For Helix, in 2019, Mitchell was a featured character in the Rise Up series of novels by author Taylor Saracen. Also in 2019; he was showcased in Bel Amiâs documentary style feature Blake Mitchell is An American in Prague, a follow-up to the studioâs 1997 hit An American in Prague. In 2020, the Mitchell won the GayVN Award for Favorite Body, voted for by fans, and the same year, was featured in Summer Boys, an art photography book published by Cockyboys.com. By 2020, Mitchell had started to step back from his adult career, though still appeared in scenes for Helix as late as 2023. Posting under @LaneVRogers on X.com, he had accumulated more than 786,000 followers with content on various pursuits and hobbies, as well as his adult work. âI knew he was also talking about the possibilityâ like, he was planning a comeback, you knowâbut he was also so multi-faceted. The motorcycle thing was new, he was getting into that. His new passion was equestrianâhe was like horse-racing, competingâhe had many great things about him,â Riley said. âHe was supposed to be here now, like last night,â he added. âHe was supposed to be here, hanging out with me all week because he was here till Friday.â Today, on Instagram, Riley wrote: "My heart is so heavy with the passing of my loved one. I canât believe I would be making this post this soon... "Where do I even begin... 10 years ago Lane walked into my life... We shared so many beautiful memories Iâll cherish forever. He was the sweetest, smartest, most charming man Iâve ever met. A true definition of a gentleman. He was so romantic and loved so unconditionally. My favorite thing was how safe and beautiful he would always make me feel. Blake was a love Iâll have in my heart for the rest of my life." "I last saw him on Sunday eveningâthank you for making my last day with you incredible. How I wish I could spend more time with you but getting to see your favorite team the Rams win the game and make it to the playoffs will be a memory I hold forever," Riley added. "I loved you very much and Iâm going to miss you every day." In the obituary posted today, the Rogers family that he would be deeply missed and asked for privacy at this time. A memorial for Rogers will be announced âin due course."
