LOS ANGELESâPlayboy unveils it Winter 2025-26 issue, featuring the re-release of rarely seen, semi-nude images of Jane Birkinâthe global icon and namesake of the world's most famous handbagâoriginally published by the magazine in November 1970. The pictorial is ârevisited through the lens of journalist Marisa Meltzer, whose new book, It Girl, explores Birkin's enduring influence on women today," a Playboy representative said. The Winter issue of Playboy officially hits newsstands on November 11. "As we enter Playboy's next chapter, we're reconnecting with our rootsâhonoring where we've come from as we look towards our future," said Reese Lasher, Playboy's VP of Brand. "Jane Birkin was not only a muse but a creative who challenged conventionâturning vulnerability into power, eroticism into art, and style into statement. By resurfacing these timeless images from Playboy's archive, we reaffirm the brand's legacy of celebrating women who embrace their sexuality and find liberation through self-expressionâinspiring others to do the same." The issue builds on Playboy's legacy of showcasing nudityâincluding 12 featured Playmates in photo layouts, spanning nearly 100 pages of âNSFWâ photos. WNBA player Kysre Gondrezick is featured as Miss Juneâ"the embodiment of a new generation of pinups redefining strength, sensuality and success." Scott Mescudi, also known as rapper Kid Cudi, is the subject of longstanding regular feature "The Playboy Interview," where he talks about âmarried life, his eleventh studio album Free and where he's headed next,â the representative added. Past subjects for "The Playboy Interview" include legends like the Rev Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., David Bowie and Steve Jobs, among others. Ahead of the issue's release, Playboy today, November 6, will host a âpop-up Playmate signing eventâ at the "Are We On Air ?" kiosk, from 6 to 9  p.m. The kiosk is located at 8224 W. Sunset Blvd., in West Hollywood, California (across the street from The Chateau Marmont Hotel). Guests will be able to buy early-release copies of the magazine and the 2026 Playboy calendar. Several recently crowned Playmates will be in attendance, signing copies and greeting fans, including: ⢠Playmate of the Year 2025: Gillian Nation ⢠Miss January: Jordyn Johnson ⢠Miss March: Emma Vanderhoof ⢠Miss August: Mykeesha Nelson ⢠Miss November: Alexandria Finley Following the issue's debut, Playboy will travel to New York City to wrap Casa Magazines at 22 8th Avenue, âa beloved landmark of print culture.â The installation will run November 11â13 and November 16â19, bringing âthe Playboy Winter issue to life in the city's most iconic magazine hub,â the representative said.
