Marc MacNamara Hosts New ‘Hot Tub Games’ From Tristan Schukraft

LOS ANGELES—The creative teams behind PrEP telemedicine provider Mistr and boutique hotel chain Tryst have entered into the streaming market with new game show Hot Tub Games, a "bold, hybrid game show that’s equal parts pop culture and unapologetic pleasure,” a show representative said. Hot Tub Games made its YouTube debut on October 16. Hosted and created by Nasty Boy Productions owner Marc MacNamara, Hot Tub Games pits one reality TV queen against one gay porn king in a series of “wildly unserious” challenges—all in the name of charity. Games played will include “The Whore You Know,” “Why You Gagging?,” “Scratch and Sniff” and “What’s in Me?” Viewers will be treated to a “sexy, unfiltered, and dangerously personal look at their favorite stars like never before,” the representative added. Shot on location at The Tryst Hotel in Puerto Vallarta, West Hollywood gay bar The Abbey, The Tryst Pool Club (Fire Island), and DS Tequila in Chicago, Hot Tub Games “travels wherever the gays go to play.” The series is produced by veterans from Bravo, MTV and Tryst CEO Tristan Schukraft, who is also founder/CEO at Mistr and, more recently, the owner of The Abbey. The debut episode features Bianca Del Rio, Cole Connor, Rhyheim Shabazz and other LGBTQ and adult industry personalities. 
In the premiere, Bianca Del Rio spills about the celebrity she took to bed (spoiler: it’s Marc Jacobs), while Cole dishes on which Drag Race host he bottomed for. “My longtime friend, Marc MacNamara, lured me to the gorgeous Tryst Hotel in Puerto Vallarta with the promise of margaritas and a view,” joked RuPaul’s Drag Race (Season 6) winner Del Rio. “Next thing I know, I’m wrestling a porn star for points on a rooftop. Joke’s on him—I didn’t pack shame or underwear. Hot Tub Games isn’t just a game show; it’s a thirst trap with prizes. But just like he does at work, that porn star is going down.” A former adult director turned pop culture personality, MacNamara has appeared on VICE, MTV and Bravo, and is known for his sharp wit and shameless humor. Season 1 features appearances by Sonja Morgan, Countess Luann de Lesseps, Bruno Alcantara, Gina Kirschenheiter, Detox, Margaret Josephs, Joe Benigno, Kiki Monique, Jhoseth Rojas, and adult stars Sumner Blayne, Hazel Hoffman, Beau Butler, Michael Boston, Tony Genius, Reese Rideout, Joey Mills, Beaux Banks, Kane Fox, Drake Von and Jake Preston, among others. Episode 2, premiering October 23, features Sonja Morgan against Sumner Blayne, with Sonja spilling some major tea about her former Real Housewives of New York castmates. “They say I’m the ‘realest’ Housewife—and I’ve raised millions for the LGBTQ community,” Morgan said. “’But Hot Tub Games is the gayest thing I’ve ever done, and I loved every minute.
