Catching Up With Kyaa Chimera

LOS ANGELES—At 5-feet-10-inches, Kyaa Chimera is used to being the center of attention when she walks into a room. Her svelte figure and stylish clothes give away her unique style and self confidence that has taken her from a small town in Oregon to a unique figure in the world of porn, kink and financial domination. “When I was 20 years old, I was just getting started in the industry and trying to figure out what my niche would be and what I wanted to do,” she recalled. “One of the very first paid photo shoots I went to was a girl/girl implied nudity kind of thing. It wasn’t even hardcore and they needed a stage name for this… So I blurted out Kyaa. And I don’t know where that came from.” Soon, after being introduced to the world of femdom and financial domination by another woman, she became Goddess Kyaa after her fans kept calling her goddess. It was 2008 and discovering how she could boss around men online and have them pay her for it was the start of something big. Making money hand over fist was a first for the Chimera, who was thrilled tap her love of sex and kink into a lucrative enterprise. Having grown up queer in a quiet Oregon town wasn’t easy for Chimera. Being the cute blonde girl with an attraction to other girls, she often found herself at odds with many in the conservative community. But being pretty and smart weren’t her only traits. She was also stubborn and not easily swayed by her strict Catholic parents or others who disapproved of her. “At that time people were warning me that boys don’t cry and if you’re an out bisexual girl, you’ll probably get raped and killed and you’ll probably deserve it,” she recalled. “And so I dropped out of going to church and got sent to anti-gay camps that were like Jesus Camp documentary-level crazy shit. I basically got sent to some pretty wild camps as a kid.” But the anti-gay conversion didn’t take as the statuesque teen refused to abandon her queerness. “The first time they sent me to an anti-gay Bible camp was the first time I ate a girl out in the woods. So, you stick a bunch of gay girls in the woods together, I wonder what’s going to happen?!” she quipped. By the time she was 16 she took the General Education Development test (GED), and left home to move to Thailand where she found reflection and a level of peace as she studied Buddhism and yoga from a group of monks who lived in a monastery in the woods. She would go on to a university in New Zealand where she would study to become a teacher, but after a while, she realized teaching was not for her. “I was like, ‘I want to do slutty things for money and I want to not have a boss.’ I really don’t want to worry about the school district finding out that you’re into kinky stuff and now you’re fired as a teacher and I don’t want to live with that over my head. I’m way too slutty at heart to do that.” Once she returned to the United States, she found herself in the midst of a fast-growing segment of findom or financial domination where she excelled with her alpha personality and sensual nature. “By 2014 I began shooting porn. I started doing content trades that were hardcore porn…and then in 2017, I did my first paid shoot for Hookup Hotshot,” she said. “Bryan [Gozzling], with Hookup Hotshot, he was great, He was awesome to work with.” She would go on to perform for such brands as Evil Angel, Kick Ass Films, MYLF, New Sensations, TeamSkeet and many others, even as she continued her work as dominatrix and findom maven. As for her personal life, she would still see men and women and explore her sexuality with equal gusto with either sex. “I get attracted to men and I want to have sex with them, but I don’t want to date them. I like being friends with guys, joking around and in that kind of way, I’m like one of the guys. If we’re going to hit on girls, its great. I like fucking girls together with guys.” Today, Chimera is married to trans starlet River Enza who is her submissive in the relationship. “She’s super proud of me. Super proud. We don’t experience jealousy among each other. We only experience the word compersion which is the opposite of jealousy. It’s when you see your partner having a pleasurable experience that does not involve you and you’re happy for them.” As for the future, Chimera already has plans. “My big goals are to be on the big production sets by people like Inka Winter and Siouxsie Q. Especially the female directors I want to work with and make really gorgeous porn that is focused on women really enjoying what they’re doing,” she said. “I also do some high fashion photography and I’ve done some stuff working with lingerie brands and stuff like that.
