Aylo, Pineapple Support Launch New Video Series on Mental Health |
|
CYBERSPACEâAylo and Pineapple Support Society, a free support and therapy service for all persons working in the online adult industry, have partnered to launch Prioritizing Wellness with Pineapple Support, a new video series designed to destigmatize therapy and promote mental health resources for sex workers and adult content creators. Released to honor Mental Health Awareness Month, the series is now available to watch on Pineapple Supportâs YouTube channel. The series features candid interviews with some of the adult industryâs most recognized performersâKazumi, Lily Lou, Ricky Johnson, Rhyheim Shabazz, and Queenie Sateenâas they reflect on what it takes to care for their mental health while working in intimate environments. âThey discuss separating their on-screen personas from their off-camera selves, where theyâve found lasting community, and the boundaries theyâve put in place to protect their emotional well-being. The result is a compelling look into the inner lives of adult creatorsâand the strategies that help them stay grounded, resilient, and connected,â a series description said. âAt Aylo, weâre committed to supporting the full wellbeing of sex workers and adult creators,â said Alex Kekesi, vice president of brand and community at Pornhub. âMental health is just as important as physical safety or creative freedom, and everyone deserves access to care that meets them where they are. Pineapple Support has created a vital lifeline for so many in this industry, and weâre proud to help amplify their work through this campaign -making sure more creators know these resources exist, and that support is always within reach.â The series is part of Ayloâs ongoing mission to champion creator wellbeing and keep mental health at the centre of industry conversations. It also underscores Pineapple Supportâs vital role in the adult ecosystem, offering free and subsidized therapy, 24/7 emotional support, and judgment-free care tailored to the needs of adult creators. âPrioritizing wellness shouldnât be a luxuryâitâs essential,â said Leya Tanit, founder, CEO and fundraising community chair at Pineapple Support. âIn an industry where we give so much of ourselves, taking time to protect our mental health, set boundaries, and care for our bodies and minds is an act of self-love and survival. Wellness looks different for everyone, but what matters is making it a priority. Weâre proud to partner with Aylo on this campaign, using their incredible reach to amplify the voices of creators and bring greater visibility to the importance of mental health and wellness. Together, weâre working to ensure more people know that support is out thereâand that theyâre never alone.â
