Founded by British performer Leya Tanit in 2018 after a tragic series of losses within the adult industry community stemming from depression and other mental health struggles, Pineapple Support is a qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. To date, the organization reports that it has âconnected over 14,000 adult performers to free and low-cost therapy, counseling, and emotional support.â “There is immense power in coming together to openly discuss mental health challenges without judgment,” Tanit said of the newly announced support group. “This support group provides a safe space to explore emotions, reduce feelings of shame, and develop healthier coping mechanisms. We are deeply grateful to AdultTime for making this vital resource possible.” The Self-Harm Support and Courageous Conversations group begins on Wednesday, March 5, at 2pm PST / 5pm EST / 11pm CET, and will run for six weeks, with each session lasting 60 minutes.
