This Week on Adult Site Broker Talk: Rob Bast of Corepay

Bast, a Welch Scholar who holds an MBA and Executive MBA, “solidified his expertise in navigating the high-risk payment landscape with tours of duty at some major payment platforms,” the podcast noted in announcing his appearance on the show, adding that he has “brought growth to all of the companies he’s worked at.”

“Rob has been in the merchant services industry for close to twenty years,” the announcement added. “He got into the industry because his mentor, the late Jack Welch, recommended that he work for a Fortune 100 company to get the experience. Before joining American Express, he had run startup companies on the East and West Coast. After American Express, Gary Jackson at CCBill recruited him to run their sales team.”

His work with CCBill was Bast’s “first exposure to adult and other high-risk verticals,” Adult Site Broker Talk added. After nearly five years at CCBill, he was recruited by Humboldt Merchant Services to serve as the company’s Vice President of Sales.

Bast then joined Corepay as Chief Sales Officer.
