MojoHost Successfully Completes Second SOC 2 Type II Audit

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – Hosting services provider MojoHost has announced the company “successfully completed its second SOC 2 Type II audit for the period ending November 30, 2024,” saying the accomplishment “reflects MojoHost’s dedication to ensuring the security and reliability of its services for clients.”

According to the announcement, the SOC 2 audit was conducted by A-LIGN, “a leader in cybersecurity compliance, relied on by thousands of organizations worldwide to address cybersecurity risks.”

“Achieving SOC 2 Type II compliance is a proud moment for our team,” said Brad Mitchell, President of MojoHost. “We work hard to deliver secure, dependable hosting solutions. This audit confirms that our processes meet the high standards our clients expect from us.”

Per the announcement, SOC 2 audits, established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), “evaluate the systems and processes organizations have in place to protect sensitive information.” The resulting report is “recognized globally and confirms that a company’s infrastructure, software, people, and procedures are designed to safeguard data and maintain trust.”

“Congratulations to MojoHost for completing their SOC 2 audit,” said Steve Simmons, COO of A-LIGN. “This achievement demonstrates MojoHost’s dedication to security and operational excellence. It was a pleasure working with a team that values both efficiency and quality in their compliance efforts.”

In the announcement, MojoHost said the company “will conduct SOC 2 assessments annually to maintain this standard of excellence.”

Last month, MojoHost released a statement reconfirming the company’s commitment to its adult industry clients in light of Donald Trump’s victory in the 2024 Presidential election, given his incoming administration’s many connections to Project 2025, which has called for pornography to be outlawed, outright.

In the statement, Mitchell wrote that MojoHost “remains steadfast in our dedication to supporting adult entertainment companies and protecting the principles of free expression.”

“We recognize the challenges that can arise with evolving legislation and have seen recent movements, like state-level age verification mandates, that directly impact our space,” Mitchell added, noting that the company also has “taken an active role in these issues, supporting organizations like the Woodhull Freedom Foundation, the Free Speech Coalition, the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection.”
