Up Close With Ariana Starr

LOS ANGELES—Ariana Starr likes reading self-help books, baking cupcakes and deep-throating—not necessarily in that order. “I’ve been reading ‘The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People,’ I like that one,” Starr says. “So it’s kind of helping, it’s keeping me focused.” Starr made raising her profile in the adult industry a focus this year and the results are speaking for themselves. “I love it so much,” Starr says. “I don’t have any complaints.” She started her adult entertainment journey on OnlyFans in 2020 when she was a strip club bartender. Then on 4-20-23 she launched her professional porn career. “It took me three years and I finally just went for it,” says Starr, who signed with OC Modeling in the spring after beginning with another agency. So far so good for Starr in her mainstream adventure. She made news recently with her anticipated Brazzers debut in a scene called “Best Hospital Visit Ever” in which she plays a sexy nurse, joining Alex Jones, Kyle Mason and Sinatra Monroe in a wild boff. Ariana also impressed in outings with Lethal Hardcore, MYLF, Dyked, Naughty America, CherryPimps, Team Skeet, SeeHimFuck, PornBox and RawAttack with many more scenes on the way. “I like the whole performance part of it. I think it’s just fun and I’m good at it, I enjoy it,” says Starr, who is French, German and Nigerian. “And I couldn’t see myself doing anything different. “I couldn’t imagine driving to work and then sitting there. That would be crazy, like I couldn’t imagine… I’ve never had a real job. I never worked at a 9-to-5.” Born in Honolulu, Ariana grew up in a military family, moving to Northern Colorado in 2009, where she settled for a while. She also spent a lot of her time before adult in Connecticut, but she considers herself from the Rocky Mountain state. She tended bar at Platinum 84 in Denver before the pandemic shut everything down. She says at first she was only doing solos on OnlyFans. “It’s so funny… I wish I could show you my first OnlyFans videos because it was like on Snapchat, like it was with a filter—it was not it,” Ariana says with a laugh. “So it started off as solo stuff and somewhere along the line I was seeing this guy and then I found someone else. “And then I think that’s when I got here and I figured out Twitter was a great place to go shopping for men.” Starr started making content with the stage name of Fox Taylor. “I went to a strip club and they said my first name couldn’t be Fox, so I just changed my whole name,” she says, adding that she got herself out there through TikTok. “I had a great time during COVID…I learned how to market myself and I was doing a lot with TikTok.  “Before my OnlyFans got deleted I was releasing like two to three scenes a week...” Starr also did a brief stint at the Bunny Ranch in Nevada but realized it wasn’t her thing. Ariana says she would like to work with Dan Damage, who recently was nominated for 2025 AVN Male Performer of the Year. “I like his cock, it’s really nice,” she says. “And I really want to shoot for Vixen. And when I get good at anal, I want to shoot for Tushy. Those are all things to work up to right now.” Ariana tells AVN she’s been practicing her anal and has done it for her OnlyFans. “But that was after three shots,” she jokes. “I don’t feel like that would be very professional to do on set. So I’m just nervous. It’s a lot all at once and the dicks aren’t small.” Even though Starr started over a year ago, she took a four-month break to get her boobs done, so she’s really just begun hitting her stride this year. Ariana says she loves traveling, cooking and hanging out with her Pomeranian whose name is Latte; she also has a cat named Muffin. Sometimes she’ll help one of her girlfriends with her cake business. “It’s really fun,” she says. “My mom’s an amazing cook. She’d always be like, ‘Ariana, come in the kitchen with me.’ And I’d be like, ‘No I don’t want to...’ And now my brother’s an amazing cook, my mom’s an amazing cook and I’m over here struggling...” She wants to improve her acting and performing skills and earn an AVN nomination in the future. “I think that would be super awesome, I don’t have to win but just to be nominated would be like super cool,” she says.
