Fresh Faces: Diana Lawrence

LOS ANGELES—Diana Lawrence admits she always wanted to try doing adult movies but she didn’t dare for many years. “I knew I wasn't mentally ready to make this decision,” she explains. “Today I'm approaching 30, life is short and we only have one so I decided to live it to the fullest and give myself all the necessary means to achieve it.” The enchanting French performer tells AVN that at press time she had done about 20 sex scenes since her debut in January of this year. “My husband and I have been libertines for many years and the porn industry has always attracted me enormously,” Lawrence continues. “One morning I took my courage in both hands and contacted Dorcel production by email.” Needless to say, Dorcel liked what they saw—and so have many others. “I obviously like sex a lot otherwise I wouldn't have chosen this job but I was very apprehensive about the comedy parts, I had never done that before but in reality I loved it and I'm pretty good at it,” Diana says. It turns out that Lawrence is a natural on camera, whether she’s making people laugh or practicing the art of seduction. “I am not very submissive, as is often the case in most porn,” she continues. “I like sharing pleasure between all partners—that one takes over the other and vice versa—real intense, sensual and hot relationships! “I am very playful in my look and my gestures. I like to make myself desired and know that I please my play partner but also those who watch us.” It’s what caught the eye of three-time AVN International Female Performer of the Year Little Caprice and her husband and business partner, Marcello Bravo, who shot Lawrence for her flagship website, LittleCaprice-Dreams.com. Caprice and Marcello met Diana in the springtime. So far she appeared in episodes of POVDreams and SuperPrivateX for LittleCaprice-Dreams. “These are artists that I had the chance to meet in Amsterdam and that I like a lot, both for their personalities and for their work, so obviously I loved working with them and I can't wait to see the result,” Lawrence tells AVN, adding that her scene was “exactly as I like them, that is to say, intense and real!” Born near Paris, where she lived until she was 24, Diana says now she lives “a little more peacefully in the provinces with my family.” She adds, “My beautiful mixed race comes from Martinique: island of flowers.” Lawrence describes her multi-faceted personality: “I’m a simple woman who likes going out partying as much as staying at home chilling. I have a strong character, I don't let people walk all over me, but I am also honest, generous, whole and faithful in love and friendship, rather reserved at first. I analyze things a lot before getting involved,” she adds.  Before adult, she worked as an interior designer for individuals and luxury homes. “I liked the creativity that I could express through my various plans and layouts with my clients,” Lawrence says. She tells AVN she is proud of her decision to follow her deepest desires “and I realize that I have a great ability to adapt.” As she considers her future, Lawrence says the U.S. is in her sights. “I would really like to tour some American productions that I really like,” Diana says. “I let myself be carried by destiny, the future will tell us.”
