Pineapple Support Launches 'Sacred Rage' Support Group |
CYBERSPACEâAdult industry mental health organization Pineapple Support is launching a new, free online support group, âSacred Rage.â The group is designed for individuals grappling with intense emotions and the pain often hidden behind angerâoffering insights into the nature of anger and its protective role, as well as constructive ways to channel it. The six-week "Sacred Rage" support group will be led by Pineapple Support therapist Stephen Mollura and will begin today at 3 p.m. PT. âIf you struggle with your rage and the pain lurking behind it, join this support group to reclaim and transform your emotions,â Mollura said. âThis group will focus on learning what anger is, why you have it, what it is protecting, and what to do with it. Youâll find support, understanding, and the self-connection you need to feel safe and empowered. Come to learn and make peace with yourself.â Pineapple Support was founded by performer Leya Tanit in 2018, after a string of losses in the adult industry from depression and other mental illnesses. The organization, a qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization in the United States, has connected over 14,000 adult performers to mental health services, including free and low-cost therapy, counseling and emotional support. âUnderstanding and transforming our emotions, especially ones as intense as anger, is an essential part of mental health,â Tanit said. âThis support group will offer a safe and guided space for individuals to navigate these feelings, supported by our dedicated and compassionate therapists.â The âSacred Rageâ support group begins today at 3 p.m. PT (6 p.m. ET/12 a.m. CET). Sessions will last approximately one hour and occur online each Tuesday at the same time, until Dec. 17.
