Pineapple Support Launches Training Series on Conflict Management & Mental Health |
Adult industry mental health nonprofit Pineapple Support has announced the expansion of its Corporate Training Initiative with a new series, âConflict Management and Mental Health First Aid.â The four-session series, led by licensed Pineapple Support therapist Nicki Line, will hold its first session tomorrow, Wednesday, October 2. âThese sessions are designed to equip participants with the essential skills to navigate workplace conflicts and provide mental health first aid,â Line said. âThey are critical for creating a supportive and mentally healthy workplace environment. The ability to recognize a crisis and effectively manage conflicts is key to ensuring the well-being of both employees and the overall company.â The Conflict Management and Mental Health First Aid sessions are scheduled as follows: Founded by performer Leya Tanit in 2018 after the loss of several adult performers suffering from depression and other mental illnesses, Pineapple Support is a qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization in the United States. The organization reports that to date, it has âconnected over 14,000 adult performers to mental health services, including free and low-cost therapy, counseling, and emotional support.â âOur training series helps companies better support their employeesâ mental health,â Tanit said. âBy equipping employees and executives with the tools to handle mental health crises and workplace conflicts, businesses help to create healthier, more productive work environments.â Pineapple Support’s Corporate Training Initiative sessions are exclusively available to employees of companies that sponsor Pineapple Support. Interactive training sessions take place every two months and are available to rewatch on a password-protected website. More details about the upcoming training session can be found here.
