Just Eat Takeaway, Lovehoney Partner for Sex Products Delivery

AMSTERDAM, Netherlands—European delivery platform Just Eat Takeaway is partnering with sexual wellness product company Lovehoney Group to offer delivery of adult intimacy products to consumers. The collaboration will launch in the United Kingdom (Just Eat), Austria (Lieferando), and Denmark (Just Eat) through local retailers in each market.  Through the partnership, Lovehoney Group will offer a variety of products including Womanizer, We-Vibe, ROMP, and Fifty Shades of Grey product lines. Items available for delivery include adult toys, lubricants, accessories, and gifts. “This collaboration with Just Eat Takeaway.com is a significant milestone for us as we continue our mission to make sexual wellness products more accessible. Sexual wellness is an important part of self-care, wellbeing, and overall health. By partnering with a leader in on-demand delivery, we're breaking new ground in how consumers can access our products, ensuring they can incorporate sexual wellbeing into their daily lives with ease and discretion,” Lovehoney Group CEO Johannes Plettenberg said. Exclusive offers and discounts will be available to consumers during seasonal promotions, including Halloween, Black Friday, and Christmas, as well as free gifts offered on orders over €50, while supplies last. Orders will be delivered discreetly through the Just Eat Takeaway delivery network, with 18-and-over age verification measures in place.  To ensure discretion and age verification, consumer security measures will be implemented including 18-and-over age tagging; sealed, unbranded paper bags with itemized receipt placed inside the bag; and no orders left at doorstep with orders returned if the customer is unreachable. The move comes as Just Eat Takeaway.com expands into self-care markets to broaden the variety of products available through its platform. “Bringing everyday convenience to consumers spans every aspect of our lives, and this partnership with Lovehoney Group is testament to that. Self-care is becoming more important to consumers, and we are delighted to service our customers with the expansion of our assortment into the category. As we look forward, we will continue to focus on partnerships that make it easier for our consumers to seamlessly incorporate the products they know and love into their daily lives,” said Guido Fambach, executive vice president of sales at Just Eat Takeaway.com.
