Charlie Forde Makes Pure Taboo Directing Debut With ‘Surprise Me’

MONTREAL—Adult Time studio Pure Taboo looks into the world of voyeurism with the September 24 release of Surprise Me: A Charlie Forde Story, a semi-autobiographical story that is Forde’s directorial debut for the brand.  Lulu Chu stars as Alice, who recognizes her new neighbor as her former college professor, Mr. Philips (Charles Dera), when she sees him while looking out her window and changing clothes. Aroused, she’s spotted by Mr. Philips and frantically closes the blinds. The next day, Alice looks out the window again and sees that Philips has been waiting for her. From his window, he holds up a sign: “I showed you mine ... now show me yours.” The situation escalates until, a few days later, Alice gets what she’s asked for. "Pure Taboo has always been such a love of mine, tiptoeing around the borders of what society deems socially acceptable,” said Forde. “I love the depth of emotions that often don’t get explored as much in other porn niches.
