New Details Emerge in Uncut James/Flesh Mechanic Case |
LOS ANGELESâAdult performer Uncut James pleaded not guilty in his May 3 arraignment on the attempted murder charges against him stemming from his alleged attack of fellow performer The Flesh Mechanic in early April, according to a new report by the Los Angeles Times. James, 26, entered the plea at the Van Nuys West courthouse, where he is due to appear for a preliminary hearing June 6. James faces charges from the April 2 incident of felony attempted murder, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon that isn't a firearm, and carrying a loaded firearm, allegedly prompted by jealousy after learning that The Flesh Mechanic had shot a scene with James' ex-girlfriend, adult performer Ivy Lebelle. James was transported to a local hospital by Los Angeles Police officers following the incident, and arrested on a warrent after he was released, the LA Times reports. He was briefly held on a $1 million bond, which he posted. Lebelle accused James of being obsessive and mentally ill in a response post to a video Flesh Mechanic shared depicting himself holding James down after the two fought. âFor the record, Iâm the ex Uncut James attacked [Flesh Mechanic] about,â posted Lebelle. âI worked with [Flesh Mechanic] after I cut James out of my life. Heâs a very scary person, and I was scared this would happen to me if I spoke up." In the April 2 incident, The Flesh Mechanic was struck twice as he was pulling out of the driveway of a friendâs home on his motorcycle by a truck James was driving. Mechanic claims James attempted to put on a ski mask to conceal his identity, was wearing rubber gloves, and wielded a golf club, with which he attacked Mechanic. Mechanic maintains self-defense. âThere were multiple witnesses; this person left in an ambulance and will be going to jail,â Mechanic posted to X. âApparently, I worked with this personâs ex-girlfriend, and thatâs why he told me he was attacking me.âÂ
