Performer Sergeant Miles Pleads Guilty for Role in Jan. 6th Riot

WASHINGTON—Adult performer Sergeant Miles pleaded guilty for his role in the January 6, 2021, insurrection at the U.S. Capitol Building and now faces federal prison time. Miles, 40, held a “leading role” in the riot, officials said. He has pleaded guilty to assaulting, resisting, or impeding law enforcement officers—all felonies, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia. Miles has more than 370 credits in scenes ranging from straight, bi, trans, and gay. AVN reported in April 2022 about Miles’ arrest and indictment.  A self-identified member of the far-right extremist group, Proud Boys, Miles was caught on camera during the Capitol breach. He was arrested in Florida and arraigned in a Washington, D.C., federal district court. The U.S. Attorney's Office says sentencing is set for February 9, 2024.  In a statement on the guilty plea, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said, “In addition to attempting to assault the officer, Miles made additional physical contact with law enforcement officers, seeking to obstruct, impede, and interfere with their efforts to hold back the rioters.”
