Dominic Ford Wins Libel Suit Against Mickey Taylor |
LONDONâDominic Ford, the founder of the JustForFans platform, has won his libel lawsuit against adult performer Mickey Taylor, who had accused him of raping male models in a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter) in June 2020. The High Court in London found that Taylorâs claim met the legal standard of libel because he made it seem as if Ford was âtherefore a serial rapist,â according to a Daily Mail report. Taylorâs X posts were the result of a disagreement both had on an âunrelated matter,â the report said. Ford at the time called the claims âincredibly serious false allegationsâ and an âact of revenge.â As a result of the ruling Taylor was ordered to compensate Ford more than £100,000 in damages and fees, per The Mail. In a statement posted to X on October 13, Ford said the judge awarded him almost £310,000 and also made reference to performer Tannor Reedâs public allegation of assault against him. âDuring the trial, both Tannor and Mickey gave evidence,â Ford said in the statement. âThe judge, after [a] thorough examination, found their testimonies to be untrue. He firmly stated he didn't find Mickeyâs allegations against me credible. The claims about any wrongdoing on my part were not only unfounded but deliberately misleading. âThe damage to my company and to my reputation has been done. But now Iâm glad for everyone to see that none of the claims were ever true.â Performer Justin Stone also accused Ford of sexual assault in June 2020 on Twitter, but he walked back the claim in 2021, the Str8UpGayPorn blog reported.
