Bryce Adams on Running a Million Dollar OnlyFans Business |
MIAMIâMainstream news media outlets have published hundreds of stories, maybe thousands, discussing the meteoric success of OnlyFans models worldwide. Subject to praise, jealousy and scorn, journalists for outlets like the New York Post or Unilad report on successful folks because of the appeal to a male-dominated audience. But these tabloids and viral content blogs lack journalistic integrity and interest in understanding the whole truth behind stories of random folks-turned-adult-content-creators. Adult creators do the type of work that they do for a wide array of reasons. Some creators simply need the money. Others just want to monetize their hobby (yes, sex can be a hobby for some). Popular performer Bryce Adams started creating content on OnlyFans as a very direct and calculated venture. Speaking with an adult news outlet for the first time, Adams told AVN about that decision and how her OF modeling has become a million-dollar enterprise. But this wasnât her intent from the beginning. âA couple of years ago, we transitioned to focusing on things like our health and fitness,â Adams explained in a phone interview. However, Adams said that she and her boyfriend Brian were not novices when it came to running a digitally-native business. Having dated since high school, the two started their first business together. Starting with just a small sum of $200, they crafted a winning formula to grow a now-flourishing and self-sustaining sporting goods e-commerce business. She explained that in a span of a decade, âWe learned a ton about systems, employees, inventory and how to run a business.â It's these lessons that went on to inform the couple on other ventures and industries. âWe didnât want to do sporting goods for the rest of our lives, but we didnât know what we wanted to do,â she said, returning to how they got into monetizing health and fitness contentânow, a vital draw for them. âThat's kind of where we started getting into the gym, working out,â Adams explained. âThen, one night, we had a friend over, and he was joking about [OnlyFans], and I hadn't really heard about it before.â She shrugged it off as a joke, but, using her parlance, a âseed was plantedâ in her brain that came out on a Sunday date night with Brian. Both were again not taking the act of starting an OnlyFans account seriously when she decided to create an account for fun. âThat first night I sold like $62 in an hour,â she laughed. âI showed my boyfriend, and he was like, âWhat? You did what?â He thought it was like a fluke. We then went for a walk, and we were looking at market caps, and then we saw potential. Probably not a fluke, not a niche thing.â They were right. The parent company behind OnlyFans, Fenix International Limited in London, oversees a digital platform with millions of users supporting millions of creators. The firm itself is valued in the billions, has a billionaire investor who owns at least 75 percent, and creators in the top 0.1 percent are earning what some may view as ridiculous amounts of money in monthly revenue. For Bryce Adams and her boyfriend, this is standard operation. And, the success of doubling down on one platform is clear. âInstead of spending time learning how to use different platforms, we decided to put all of our energy and attention into [OnlyFans] so we can focus on making amazing videos and engage in meaningful ways with our amazing fans,â said Brian Adams, Bryceâs boyfriend, in an email to AVN. Aside from running the business with Brian, Bryce stars in the content with him and other content creators, ranging from nude live-stream workout sessions for charity, to sex tapes with young, well-endowed "interns," and collaborations with other female talent. The Adamses told us that they have earned well over $14 million in the few years they has produced NSFW and XXX content. AVN independently verified these earnings and can attest that not only is Adams possibly one of the highest-earning content creators on the platform currently, but her main account holds the distinction of garnering the highest number of likes on OnlyFans out of over 2 million content creators and counting, worldwide. Now with about 23 employees working in an office and personal gym located on the property owned by the couple, they have developed in-house workflows and support management tools uniquely tailored to their needs. One such tool is literally called âThe Tool.â âIt is our in-house software that we developed to maximize my ability to interact with my fans,â Adams explained. âIt has a lot of automation built into the background to store my video inventory, optimize the fansâ experience, and allow my messaging output to be two to five times higher than baseline.â She adds that this allows her and her team to spend more time going live on OnlyFans streams and making content. âIt's been awesome, and I am really happy we created the software,â Bryce enthused. âOur team did a great jobâit was a collaborative effort.â âWhen we make money, the platform makes money,â she concluded. âBut most importantly, we want our customers to have the best experience. That's what we care about.â Follow Bryce Adams on X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram. Her content can be found on her OnlyFans.
