Kylie Quinn Launches Adult Industry Resource Site KylieXY.com |
MIAMIâAdult industry veteran Kylie Quinn on Tuesday launched KylieXY.com, a site dedicated to providing tools for content creators in the adult entertainment industry. According to a rep, KylieXY.com is "a helpful place for people who want to start their careers in adult entertainment." The site offers support and education for newcomers and includes a database of numerous adult industry resources intended to help users navigate the world of content creation and job bookings. Additionally, the site aims to "create a space that allows for professional growth, performer safety, and advocacy for an overall better industry." Quinn states, âLooking back at when I joined the industry, I feel like I was just a baby. Not only was I an 18-year-old girl who had only had sex with one person, but I felt pressured to join. It was 100 percent my choice, but I was terrified. I was bullied when my hometown found out and I knew next to nothing about what I was walking into. Not for a second do I regret it, but I want to make sure every person has access to all the information about the industry thatâs out there. I love what itâs done for me and I loved shooting, but if I knew half of what I know today I wouldâve moved a lot differently. "My parents are huge justice advocates⦠So when my mom especially heard about my choice to join the industry, being skeptical was an understatement. The path Iâve chosen has led me to want to protect everyone after me." Quinn says that not only can users leave ratings and comments on industry personnel anonymously if they choose, but she is also donating 5 percent of all the site's earnings to a human trafficking charity. "Still researching the right one, but I want my parents to know that Iâm doing everything I can to make sure that not only this industry gets better but that Iâm doing everything I can to make sure people all over the world are protected," Kylie continues. "This industry is so wonderful in so many ways⦠but it needs accountability. Without an air of transparency, anyone can get walked all over. But when we share what we know, our experiences, and our thoughts, nobody can hide from the truth. "Nobody can take advantage of us anymore. Nobody can make up fake news and get away with it anymore. No more lies, no more bullying, no more bots, and no more discrimination. We can make that happen, together. All we have to do is stand side by side, strong and unwavering. Itâs time to prove to the world what a remarkable community weâre in. One that I am so proud to be a part of.â To join KylieXY, users will need to verify their identity with a government-issued identification card. Quinn is on Twitter @kyliexquinn.
