Queenie Sateen Crowned Twistys Treat for August

LOS ANGELES—Queenie Sateen tells AVN it didn’t take long after her industry debut last summer for her to realize that Twistys Treat was something she wanted. “When I first started shooting porn I came in kind of blind,” Queenie admits. “I didn’t know about all the companies, but if you pay attention you can learn a lot of things really quick. And I knew that I wanted to be a Treat.” That desire became a reality this month for the talented native of South Florida, who was crowned the Twistys Treat of the Month for August. “It was honestly a dream come true,” Sateen says. “From the very beginning on social media Twistys was one of the companies I was seeing beautiful visuals by and that’s very important to me. I’m such an aesthetics person. “Also, I love girl/girl scenes. They are one of my most favorite things to do.” Queenie Sateen already had shot for the legacy brand a couple times, performing in the final scene directed by longtime Twistys shooter Holly Randall—with Tru Kait in 2022. “It was a really sweet, romantic bath-time scene,” Sateen recalls. “We shot that in fall of last year.” Then she paired off with Kylie Page—the June 2023 Treat—under the direction of Lea Lexis in another Twistys encounter shot in the springtime. “That was also such a fun scene,” Sateen tells AVN. “I had an incredible time and I always feel super privileged with the bangin’ girls I am able to work with. I’m always working with super hot chicks.” Queenie says she was so thrilled with her Twistys Treat shoot that she scrolled through the BTS photos on her phone many times in recent weeks. “I’m so obsessed with that day,” she confesses. “It was such a fun day. I love a day that’s just literally one-thousand percent aesthetic in the photos and looks and makeup. They shot three looks for me. “I can’t even pick a favorite because there were so many things we did. It was awesome to be able to work with Lea and come up with hair and makeup that fit each one.” One look saw the statuesque model in a denim lingerie set with a microphone in hand; in another, she wore a French Rose-colored ensemble and posed next to a black vintage car; and in a third look she channeled early 2000s pop-star vibes in a form-fitting, baby-blue dress while sitting on pastel-colored washing machines. She even wielded a pink guitar in a few of the shots for seasoned photographer JT. “I love working with JT. He’s so easygoing and sweet,” Queenie says. “It’s just fun and easy with him.” She also appreciates Lea, who directed Queenie's second scene ever, giving her pointers about opening up to the camera and how to get the most out of a sex scene. Queenie also lauded Lea’s attention to detail with styling and wardrobe. “I love Lea Lexis,” Queenie continues. “I’ve always really looked up to her.” Sateen got to choose Arabelle Raphael for her Twistys Treat of the Month scene partner. “Most of the time you don’t get to pick who you work with, but I was lucky enough to put in some suggestions and I got to work with my best friend, probably the person I’ve shot the most content with outside of shooting for companies,” Queenie tells AVN. “It was very special to get to work with Arabelle. Me and Arabelle are just two showgirls. She says we’re ‘Shetland ponies.’ We just had a ton of fun. She’s a wild and crazy girl. “That was the cherry on top of the Treat.” Twistys agrees. "Queenie is a triple threat—a model, an adult actress, and a musician rolled into one," says a Twistys rep. "She’s multifaceted, and so is this shoot with different looks and sets that show her versatility. We’re so happy to have Queenie as our August Treat of the Month!” Born and raised in South Florida, the Spiegler Girl moved to New York when she was 17 and lived there for 13 years before taking her talents to LA in August 2022 on the heels of her first two porn scenes last July. Now more than 100 performances later, she says things could not be going any better. “I’m feeling really hopeful and positive and excited about my foray into adult,” she says. “Before I started shooting porn, I was only doing music full time with my band Sateen.” She and her duo partner Ruby—with whom she also used to be married—had been making their disco-inspired dance music for the past decade before taking a break recently. “She’s painting and I’m doing adult and we’re on a little hiatus because she lives in New York and it’s not easy to make music when we’re on different coasts,” Queenie says. “But we plan on releasing more things. We’re just on a little bit of a pause.” Queenie adds, “I’ve always been a showgirl and that’s really helped me out being a performer beforehand and just coming into a new medium.” Sateen’s songs have racked up more than 1.8 million listens on Spotify—the 2019 release “Gotta Gimme Your Love” had exceeded 1 million listens at press time.  Photography by JT for Twistys
