Eldorado Sales Account Manager Jeff Waterstreet Retires |
BROOMFIELD, Colo.âPleasure products distributor Eldorado Trading Company is celebrating the retirement of longtime sales account manager Jeff Waterstreet. A Colorado transplant, Waterstreet first joined Eldorado in August 1977. As one of the 12 employees in the original Boulder location, he worked in the warehouse, packing orders. At the time, Eldorado was stocking smoke products. By 1980, Waterstreet was offered a job in sales and began working with retail stores. Waterstreet sold smoke products for Eldorado for nine years, before the distributor shifted their focus to adult pleasure products in 1989. Derek DalPiaz, Eldoradoâs sales and marketing director, shares, âJeff has been a blast to work with. Heâs always in a good mood and has the best one-liners ever! He also is a wealth of knowledge about everything adultâproducts, vendors, customers, and the history of Eldorado and the industry. He will be missed, and the office just wonât be the same. Iâm very happy that Iâve had time to work with him and get to know him. I wish him the best in retirement.â Eldorado CEO Wanda Garland recalls, âJeff evolved with Eldorado over the last 46 years, from our early days distributing smoking accessories and throughout all our time within the pleasure products industry. Jeff is quite a character and has a great sense of humor. We couldnât have asked for a more loyal and dedicated worker! He has been an integral part of the company for a very long time and will be missed. Hereâs to Jeff and may he have a great retirement!â Eldorado celebrated Waterstreetâs retirement with a commemorative plaque and cupcakes for the entire Eldorado team. He and his wife Sherry plan to move to move Kansas to be closer to their family. When asked for a quote for his final PR, Waterstreet chose to reference the Grateful Dead: âWhat a long, strange trip itâs been.â
