XConfessions Releases Limited Series 'MasturDates'

BARCELONA—In celebration of "Masturbation May," director/producer Erika Lust has released a limited series of shorts on her website XConfessions capturing real-life couples engaging in various iterations of partnered masturbation. Titled MasturDates, the project was co-directed by Lust and Casey Calvert. Featured in the four shorts are couples Nicole Kitt and Jonte, Mercè Palau and Cristian, Dillon Diaz and Jake Waters, and Nikki Hearts and Kris Scott. After a few questions on how they personally like to practice masturbation, each couple proceeds to enjoy a session together, with the play ranging from mutual masturbation to watching and helping the other person climax. The aim of the project, according to promotional materials, is to "bring awareness towards the different ways you can connect with a partner regarding masturbation, and the acceptance of each person’s likes and dislikes when it comes to this topic." “Masturbation month is my favorite month of the year! The perfect time to celebrate and explore all forms of self pleasure," Lust said.
