Mistress Cyan Talks DomCon on ‘Sex, Sin and Sensibility’ Podcast

A labor of love for its hosts, Ms Drea Deville and Lady D, the show is a forum to discuss all manner of kinks and fetishes, serving to educate the curious listener – and to get guests to spill the tea on their hottest scenes and fantasies.

In a release about her appearance on the podcast, reps for Mistress Cyan note that she was introduced to the BDSM lifestyle in 1989, and “through years of commitment to helping others, has established herself as a well-respected leader in the Los Angeles BDSM and leather communities.”

“Cyan pushed hard for transgender acceptance in the Los Angeles fetish scene,” the announcement adds. “She’s also known for her work organizing and hosting fundraisers for local charities. She regularly teaches classes, mentors others, and speaks at academic institutions such as Stanford University, CSUN, UCLA and Occidental College on the subject of consensual BDSM.”

Cyan’s reps also said she has “shown she’s not afraid to set new standards, break new ground or accept responsibility.”

“DomCon Los Angeles is part of her vision to change the perception of BDSM professionals in the leather community,” Cyan’s reps added in the statement. “The convention begins with business-to-business seminars addressing legal issues, taxes, health, and techniques for professionals and sex workers, then expands to the kinky public with social events, performances, classes and an exhibition of the latest kinky products.”

While this is Mistress Cyan’s first guest appearance, Sex, Sin and Sensibility has featured several DomCon alumni on as guests, including Jade Desires, Alice in Bondageland, Submiss Ann, Mistress Damiana Chi, Ph.D. and fetish photographer Sweet Girl Julia.
