PASS Appoints Jordan Holberg as Chief Technology Officer |
CHATSWORTH, Calif.âPerformer Availability Screening Services (PASS) announced Tuesday that technologist Jordan Holberg has joined the organization as its first Chief Technology Officer. Holberg, who will serve PASS on a pro bono basis, brings 20 years of experience building and managing corporate digital architecture, with specialized experience in blockchain technology. âWe are incredibly fortunate to have Jordan on the PASS team,â says Ian OâBrien, executive director of PASS. âHe not only brings a wealth of experience to the fight, he brings energy, creativity and a passion for innovation. Weâve always been an industry at the forefront of new technologies, and with Jordan as a guide, I believe we can reimagine the possibilities for PASS. I canât thank him enough for donating his time and expertise.â Holberg, a veteran of mainstream marketing and commerce giants like GameStop, Barneys and TBWA\Chiat\Day, connected with OâBrien during a mixer hosted by crypto payments leader SpankChain. Holberg quickly saw the potential for blockchain to strengthen and transform PASSâs independent testing database. When OâBrien began scouting for a CTO, Holberg was one of the first names on the list. As CTO, Holberg will focus on ways to further secure and improve the functionality of the database for the global performer community, as well as use technology to expand the mission of PASS. While the integrity and security of the data are of paramount importance, Holberg is looking for ways to streamline communication with labs and enhance the performer experience. âI am honored to be a part of this extraordinary project,â says Holberg. âPASS is so much more than a database, and from my first conversations with Ian, I saw the potential to build a truly world-class tool for adult performers. While Iâm a relative newcomer to the industry, I am passionate about sexual health and sex worker rights, and believe PASS can help bring necessary and positive change. Iâm glad to be aboard and am eager to get to work.â
