Will Ryder's 'Love, Sex & Robots' to Debut April 11

HOLLYWOOD, Calif.—The newest installment of director Will Ryder's Love, Sex &... series, Love, Sex & Robots, is set to release April 11 from Adam & Eve Pictures. Starring 2023 AVN Female Performer of the Year Kira Noir as an artificially intelligent robot intent on destruction, the sci-fi thriller takes a sinister look at what may happen if A.I. goes unchecked. “We did not consult with any tech visionaries on our release date so it’s too late to stop our movie no matter what Elon Musk warns,” Ryder joked. "Had I known that advanced artificial intelligence could actually go off the rails as some great minds are predicting, I probably would have produced a movie about college students on spring break. “But we have to face the truth about where we are heading as a society, and our movie peels back the curtain about artificial intelligence as we make it scary and sexy as hell,” he added.    Noir plays fembot DANA, which stands for digital algorithm neurocomputing assistant. What is intended as a safe, in-home assistant for consumer use becomes a deadly, murderous invader. Joining Noir in the cast are Maria Kazi, Kiara Cole, Pristine Edge, Athena Anderson, Zerella Skies, Mazy Myers, Tyler Cruise, Brad Newman, Rob Carpenter, Rusty Nails and Frank Bukkwyd.  “I love an acting challenge, so when I first read Will’s script, playing a crazed A.I. machine, it was very enticing for me,” Noir said. “Kira is fantastic, she’s so good I actually believe she’s an A.I. fembot—she’s that good,” offered the movie’s co-producer, Scott David.  “Just check out the trailer as I predict Kira Noir will be nominated for a best acting award for her portrayal,” Ryder concluded.  See the non-sex trailer for Love, Sex & Robots now on YouTube.
