Fresh Faces: Kate Dalia

This feature appears in the December edition of AVN magazine. LOS ANGELES—Kate Dalia’s first visit to a strip club was for an audition. But before the manager ever arrived to greet her, she’d scurried out the front door. “I got scared,” Dalia says. “The dancer on stage was really good, and then I started watching all the other girls walk around the room and flirt with guys. I was freaking out. I thought, ‘Oh my God, I don’t think I’d be any good at this. It’s not for me.” The statement seems comical now. Three years after that moment of trepidation, Dalia has mastered the art of seduction. It started when Dalia found the courage to return to that gentlemen’s club, where she blossomed into one of the top earners at the establishment. It continued during her time as a mainstream fashion model, when Dalia was flown to Florida, Texas and even Jamaica to pose in lingerie and swimwear. And now it’s presenting itself in the adult industry, where Dalia appears to have found her true calling. “I was doing really well as a fashion model,” Dalia says, “and everyone was telling me that I didn’t need to do porn. But I was like, ‘You don’t understand. I want to do porn.’” A Connecticut native, the 5-foot-7 Dalia began creating a buzz the moment Motley Models added her to their roster back in September. With cascading brown hair that drapes to her middle back, 32DD breasts and the sexy long legs of a runway model, Dalia’s glam shots pop out on the company website. She turns heads at industry parties with her appearance and charms directors, producers and talent with her warmth and friendliness on set. Hardly timid in front of a lens, Dalia has already worked with A-list talent such as Keiran Lee, Ramon Nomar, Mick Blue, Brad Newman and Donnie Rock. As word of her of sexual prowess circulates, Dalia’s schedule is sure to fill up soon. “I sometimes gets anxious before shoots,” Dalia, who is 29, says. “But once the camera starts going, I’m good. I’ve always been very sexually open. I love sex. It makes me really happy, and I love seeing other people feed off my energy.
