Valentina Bellucci on Juggling Acting & Production

Nominated for AVN 2023’s Best New Production Banner award, the taboo genre site focuses on the step niche and was launched in November of 2021. What’s incredible about Step House’s success is not only the fact that it’s still a baby having just had it’s one year anniversary, but that Valentina is also able to juggle a successful adult acting career as well.

In this interview, enjoy some insight into how she manages to excel in both careers – a woman who made her way from Italy to Florida to bring her special brand of adult content to the world in front and behind the screen.

How did you get your start in adult and what brought you to the industry?

I was always very open sexually and having sex in front of people or knowing that others can watch me turns me on. I had friends who were in porn, and I kept hearing I should give it a try, but my biggest concern was “what will other people say?”

I got to the point in my life where I was able to make a decision without any hesitation and I did.

I started with fetish shoots because I wanted to get more experience in front of the camera. I was also in Tampa Bay which is known as the “Fetish Capital of the World,” so I was able to work with many local producers, get experience, and work on my acting skills. 

     
Why did you decide to start Step House XXX?

Before I started shooting as a model, I knew that at some point I wanted to be behind the camera as well. I love to work with people on projects and share my ideas. Creating a studio is a huge challenge but it’s also a very exciting process. 

It’s quite a feat to get a production company up and running, what were some of the obstacles you encountered and how did you overcome them?

Running your own business is really time-consuming and there is always something to do.

You can work 24/7, Monday-Sunday but at some point, it will be too much and will start affecting your life in a negative way. At first, I always wanted to do everything right now. It wasn’t good. It took me a while to learn how to be productive but also rest and enjoy life outside of work.

I started planning and prioritizing things understanding that some tasks can wait and that it’s an ongoing process.

What do you think is the most important skill an entrepreneur must have to succeed?

Patience.

I feel like nowadays people want to have everything NOW. Life is not Amazon Prime or Uber Eats. In a business, relationship, or career you need to wait for success. Very often you have to make some adjustments and fix problems. I believe that as long as I work hard and stay committed, good things will happen but sometimes you need to wait for them a bit longer. 

How do you stay competitive in the market with Step House XXX?

Luckily, we work with Adult Empire Cash, and they have been in business for decades, so they take care of this. It’s great to have a partner like them so we can focus on creating great content.

What are you most proud of in your career to date?

I just got the news that Step House was nominated for AVN Awards, and it made me really happy and proud.

Hopefully, I will get nominated as a performer one day, but as I mentioned before I know that patience is key. Next year I am going to commit more time to producers who want to work with me so hopefully, I will have a chance to work with amazing and creative directors and shoot scenes that fans will love!

What are your goals for the company and your own personal career over the next five years?

Stay happy, motivated and get better every year. As a performer, I want to shoot more scenes and do whatever I can to look and perform better every time. As a producer, I want to improve the quality of content every year.

If everything goes well, I’d love to create another studio sometime in the future.
