Nicole Doshi on Dudes Do Better Podcast

In the episode, “From Qingdao to The US with Nicole Doshi” she discussed her first impressions of America.

“I landed in the wrong place, to be honest,” said a laughing Doshi. “In China, it’s busy, we have big populations… so when I first landed in Nebraska, the airport was so quiet – I was like, ‘am I in the right place?’”

Now living in Los Angeles, Doshi enjoys the bustle of the big city – “it’s sunny every single day!” – and her new job as an adult entertainer. Currently she has a steady slate of work from studios and stated that shooting scenes is her favorite part of the business – especially when it comes to comedic and dramatic roles: “the English is a little hard for dialogue for me, I like the challenge… I like the acting; I feel like that’s so different from what I do… you can pretend to be somebody else and get into their character. I love it, roleplay!”

Doshi also shared that she was curious but fearful of feature dancing after working in New York in massage parlors – “I just get nervous, I don’t know how to dance, I don’t want to get stupid just standing there!”
