Cosmo Liveti Drama 'Feminæ' Hits Canal+ Saturday

PARIS—AVN Award nominated French director Cosmo Liveti follows up his recent release Within Her with another ambitious feature, Feminæ (or Femmes, on Vous Aime), premiering just after midnight Saturday on French network Canal+. Feminæ is composed of three stories following female characters played by European stars Cléa Gaultier, Clara Mia and Ania Kinski. Their individual tales are described in promo materials as "funny, creepy, unpredictable, subtle, dramatic." “When Cosmo Liveti asked me to play a leading role in one of the three sketches composing Feminæ, I immediately accepted,” Gaultier said. “I knew that whatever would happen, it would be a new experience for me. My career is already very rich and diverse, I was involved in many prestigious projects since years, and I was happy for once, to take a step outside of the traditional pornography. I haven’t been deceived." Commented regular Liveti muse Mia, “The sketch I had to incarnate in Feminæ is, from very far, the most complex and difficult acting session in my career. In each sequence, I had to analyze extravangant situations and to adapt immediately my character to it. It was exhausting mentally, but so rewarding! Even the sex session was ... oh my god ... Intense, very realistic, but also terribly subtle.” Echoed Kinski, "This shooting have been the craziest and the most emotional I’ve been shooting. I’m very curious to see the final result and of course very impatient to share it with our fan community. Everybody worked very hard to get an optimal result. Of course, this is first of all a pornographic movie, but I’ve the feeling that I was embarked in something else, and a very different feeling than from regular shootings became more and more obvious at each step of the production.” "The movie was constructed on the willing to go as far as possible in the cinematographic aspect," offered Liveti. "The work of the chief operator was determinant and fruitful. Finally, it is through the light, the environment and elements like music, often neglected in the traditional porno, that we can access to emotion level, after the usual excitation level, more basic in this movie genre. Moreover, performers have been perfect at each stage of their work, they really did their best and we can feel it.” He added, “Those three ladies live their sexuality in the fullest way and this is a very powerful element to take a glimpse into the nudity of their souls.” Also appearing in Feminæ are Alyson Borromeo, Elisa Calvi, Kitana Lure, Chloé Duval and male performers David Perry, Erik Everhard, James Ducal, Mike Hilton and Francesco Malcom.
