Icon Brands Recruits Joey Wilson as New Sales Manager

LOS ANGELES—Icon Brands has hired industry veteran Joey Wilson as its new Sales Manager, taking over in the position for the departing Sara Hentcy. “We’re thrilled to have someone of Joey’s background and character to help pick up where Sara Hentcy will be leaving off,” said a spokesman for the company. “We look forward to his enthusiasm and knowledge benefiting the team.”   Wilson commented, “I’ve known Jeff and his group for years, and I’ve always been impressed with Icon’s smart offerings and clever packaging; and most of all its relevance and sell-through. I look forward to the productive times ahead."   Wilson also helms the marketing effort for the luxury lubricant line NeoSensual, and will continue to do so, as it “isn't a conflict with the Icon offerings,” the Icon spokesperson said.    Most recently Wilson introduced Sensuva Intimates to the U.S. market, as well as helping launch Evolved Novelties. “Working with Greg Alves was my introduction to the field,” Wilson said, “and it was truly exciting to see Evolved ‘evolve' into a full-fledged line worldwide.”    Wilson will share his time between Icon’s offices in Van Nuys and his home office in Thousand Oaks, and is starting immediately.
