Fresh Faces: Reese Robbins

LOS ANGELES — Reese Robbins remembers when she decided that adult performing was in her future. “My first scene was October 28th, but a week before that I just woke up one day and I thought it would be a great idea,” the 20-year-old, former nurse recalls. A couple days after her moment of clarity, Robbins says a talent recruiter contacted her by surprise. “I wasn’t really putting myself out there, he just reached out to me on Instagram. I thought, ‘it’s a sign,’” adds Robbins, who was in Kansas at the time. Ready for an adventure, she went to Miami to firm things up and then did her first two scenes in Arizona—“and I was just sold.” She performed in a handful of scenes with her first agent and then she started self-booking while researching potential agencies before landing with SoCalModels in February. If it weren’t for sunburn that caused her to reschedule about 15 shoots, Robbins likely would have surpassed 30 scenes by now. “I just underestimated the California sun and it was right on my butt, too,” she jokes. Still, Reese already has credits for Karups, PornPros, Blazed Studios, Team Skeet, Alex Adams’ PerfectGirlfriend and recently PervCity with the AVN Hall of Fame stud Michael Stefano on her resume, not to mention what she estimated at the time of this interview was more than 15 scenes for DickDrainers.com. “And those scenes can sometimes be a little rougher to do, but I always give it my all, and it comes out looking really, really good,” she says. “Those are the ones I’m most proud of. They’re not all out yet, but him and I have shot about 16 or 17 times since we first shot in December.” Robbins admits she’s been “a really hyper sexual person ever since I can remember.” “I just figured this would be perfect for me,” she reasons. Reese spent the past five years working long hours in the nursing profession as a Certified Medication Aide, Certified Nurse Assistant and a travel nurse, holding down shifts in nursing homes, psych wards, hospitals and private residences. Sometimes if there wasn’t a Charge Nurse available, she would even step up and manage the shift. “I was 19 when I was doing that and I did it for four or five months,” she continues. “I loved traveling, it’s one of my passions. And I love nursing, don’t get me wrong, I’m a people pleaser and I love helping others. But I feel like nursing changed, especially since Covid. It was something I really needed to take a step back from. Porn was perfect for me and my personality. It’s fulfilling for me.” Reese says she learned a lot about herself from nursing, especially that “I’m a very compassionate person, like I’ll do whatever it takes to help you and make you feel better.” Born in Oklahoma, Robbins moved several times as she was growing up, living in Colorado, Texas, Missouri and then Kansas. A standout student, she says she graduated early because she wanted to work full time. “I went to five different high schools and I graduated from my rural high school in Kansas,” says Robbins, who will turn 21 on Nov. 26. Meanwhile, most of her friends and former co-workers back in Kansas have found her videos, “so everyone knows.” “Some people aren’t nice or cool about it, but others are very supportive,” Reese says. “I try to focus on the positives… I have lots of old co-workers who support me. Some of them follow my Twitter.” Reese didn’t know of many performers outside of Riley Reid and Abella Danger before adult, but she knew what she liked to watch—and where to find it. “It was always Pornhub—I liked the layout,” she says with a laugh. “I was always watching lesbian porn or I liked watching those cum compilations, the orgasm compilations. "To me the good part is when the girl is cumming. It’s just so hot looking at her, so that’s mainly what I watched.” She adds with a smile, “Half the time, I would skip to the good part and then just do what I needed to do and be done with it. Then I would act like I didn’t do it.” Robbins says someday she would like to work with Johnny Sins and studios such as Vixen, Tushy and Blacked, plus many more. “And I really want to shoot for Brazzers and Reality Kings. I feel like it would be so much fun,” she says. When she isn’t working, she enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and going to the beach. “I love really staying active and being in nature,” Reese says. “I love to read and watch movies.” She especially likes the thriller/mystery book The Girl on the Train, as well as poetry books. Reese also loves Steal This Book by Abbie Hoffman, which was published in 1971 and explored the counterculture of the 60s. “My favorite movie is Clockwork Orange and I really like horror movies and anything by Quentin Tarantino. Plus, I love funny stuff,” she says.
