Exotic Dancer's Don Waitt Steps Down, Dave Manack Takes Over

LOS ANGELES—Don Waitt, founder of Exotic Dancer magazine and its parent company ED Publications, is stepping down as publisher of the iconic publication after 30 years and will now serve as an advisor to the company. ED Publications Associate Publisher and Editor-in-Chief Dave Manack will take over as publisher. “Though I’m not ready to fully retire, I am ready to take a step back and pass the reins for the day-to-day, in-the-trenches operation of ED Publications on to the next generation,” Waitt said. “In this case, the next generation is Dave Manack, who is a perfect choice to continue steering the ship that is ED Publications. Manack has been with the company almost from the beginning. He is well versed in all things ED, from publishing the magazine to running the Expo to producing the annual EDI contests.
