Jane Lucier on Being Her Own Boss, Travel & The Law of Attraction

LOS ANGELES — Jane Lucier tells AVN she’s like “a digital nomad”— going where she wants, when she wants — and making a living on her own terms. “I don’t need to stay in a specific place,” she says. “It doesn’t matter where I am, I find a way to be able to work and travel at the same time.” To say that Lucier—who has visited more than 50 countries in the past two years—has figured out what works for her would be an understatement. She used her content creation and streaming earnings to invest in the stock market and real estate. Those investments paid off—and at press time she was in the process of selling all her properties as she eyes the next chapter in her life. Just five years into her adult career, the 24-year-old Canadian beauty has achieved the financial freedom that many go their entire lives seeking. “I have been in the industry since I was 18 years old. It was a choice for me. I was a full-time student and passionate about my studies but something inside of me always wanted to be in the adult industry, so I just followed my intuition and here we are five years later now,” Lucier says. “I am very proud considering I started with zero and I’m now a multimillionaire who is financially free. “It’s kind of crazy because I had no handout. I really did it from scratch. I worked really, really hard and sacrificed a lot to be where I am today.” Lucier, who lives in Quebec, knows what it feels like to struggle. “I grew up in a really poor environment,” she says. “I was totally by myself. I didn’t have any support. For me I always was very grateful for any money I would make. So the end goal for me was not money, it was always freedom and financial security. “Whatever amount of money I would make, I would always save as much as I can. I always would live under my means all the time because I knew what it’s like not to have any and I wanted to ensure I was doing the right steps to never need it again.” Consider it mission accomplished. Lucier built her high profile primarily through social media, using Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat and TikTok to engage with fans. “Because I think social media brings the traffic to my personal websites such as OnlyFans,” she says. “Most people have heard about me on social media.” When she first heard about the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo, Lucier said to herself, “Oh my god, I want to see that.” “Then every month I would go to a different sex convention,” she says, noting she attended conventions in Miami, Chicago and the AVN’s in Vegas. “It’s so fun. I really love sex conventions. You can make great connections and it’s great networking. I’m passionate about the industry and I love going to do these things.” But going to expos has only been a fraction of the globe-trotting Lucier has done. She quenched her wanderlust with trips to more than 50 different countries in the last two years—visiting every continent except Australia. “I’ve traveled a lot and I’m very passionate about it,” Lucier says. “I have a lot of other hobbies as well. I’m someone who cares a lot about the environment and mental health. For me mental health and physical health are really important. “I really believe in the law of attraction, so every day I have my list of manifestations. I read it everyday when I wake up and before going to bed.” Lucier—who books one or two trips every month—says her favorite places to visit so far were “probably Monaco and Italy.” But Amalfi Coast was “out of this world beautiful,” she adds. “More recently Dubai, which is the place I was considering moving to. The food is amazing, the people are amazing—it’s paradise for me.” Jane says she would like her next trip to be Cape Town, South Africa. “I have a list on my phone. I travel so much I forget where I’m going,” she jokes. Lucier tells AVN it’s important to be smart while traveling. “As a woman traveling alone you have to be extra careful,” Lucier explains. “Nothing has happened to me ever, and I’m ever grateful for that. I always take extra precaution. There are some places that are not safe for a woman. “I felt a lot safer in Dubai than in Paris and most people would not understand that.” She speaks French, English, some Spanish and a little bit of Japanese. A full-time student before adult, Jane also had a retail job in the health field. On the day she turned 18, Jane made big changes—leaving her city, her internship, her boyfriend and her part-time job. “The same week I cancelled everything in my life and moved to Montreal and started there, opened a corporation and found my calling,” says Lucier, a self-taught photographer who now shoots all her own photos. “I choose when I shoot. I know my angles. It saves on costs. Photographers are very expensive. I’ve learned a lot about photography, self image and self esteem. I understand how lenses distort our facial features and they affect how we look.” Her varied interests also include giving back—she donates a portion of her earnings to sex work charities. Meanwhile, Lucier loves fine dining, gardening and playing her white grand piano. “I have a hydroponics garden and grow my own vegetables, spices—basil and arugula," she says. "I am very big on gardening and music as well.” She's also big on all aspects of self-improvement. “I set goals for myself personally, socially and financially," Jane says. "I strongly believe the mind can attract whatever you want to attract in life."
