Go Big or Go Home: Marica Chanelle Discusses Adult Career

LOS ANGELES — When Marica Chanelle finishes a sex scene, she makes it a priority to ask the director for an honest opinion on how she did. “If they want to tell me something that they don’t like it,” Chanelle says. “Usually I never had problems. I’m very straight for my work. “I try to do a good job so my scenes are going to sell and they’re going to book me again. I’m really a perfectionist.” The results speak for themselves. The stunning blonde, green-eyed performer from Italy has more than 50 credits since her splashy debut in 2018, including several scenes for BangBros, PornPros, Private, LegalPorno, Marc Dorcel, Mofos, Pink’O and four scenes for Rocco Siffredi Productions and Evil Angel. In fact Chanelle skipped the minor leagues and went straight to the majors when she decided to make the move into adult. The fearless starlet squared off with iconic stud Rocco Siffredi for Rocco’s Intimate Castings 19, along with her real-life sister Tina Princess, in an anal threeway—in her first-ever scene. “We went in contact and I flew to Budapest and I shot for him,” Chanelle says matter-of-factly. In the same movie, Marica and Tina also took on Johnny Pag and Eddy Blackone in separate threesome tryouts. She connected with Siffredi through his late cousin, Gabriel Zero, who was Rocco’s longtime collaborator. “I was traveling all over Italy and everybody knows Rocco and his cousin. They are pretty famous, they are the most famous in Italy,” Chanelle says. “Italy is a small country—everybody knows everybody. “Everything was like casual because we are both Italian. [Rocco] was like, ‘Oh really, you want to shoot porn?’ I was like, ‘Yeah, I’m serious.’” Once Rocco gave her the details, Marica needed no further convincing. “I was like, ‘OK, I’m down, let’s do it,’” she says. “Of course he told me about how it would change my life, but I already made my choice. I already made my decision, it was right away the same week.” Chanelle at the time was working as a bottle girl at a nightclub while doing occasional glamour modeling—sometimes for clothing brands.  “I also did like selection for Miss Italy, too,” Marica reveals. A native of Vicenza in the Veneto region of northeast Italy, Chanelle says that first scene with the Italian legend was “a lot of fun.” “And having my sister there, too, it made it even more because we even have something you trust and you know, so I was still comfortable,” she adds. It didn’t take long for people to find out about her career move. “Of course everybody discover the same day, because [Rocco] put something on Instagram,” Marica says. “Everybody was like, oh my god. Definitely you cannot hide it. I didn’t think it was that big of a thing, but I cannot even go to grocery in Italy.” Chanelle continued to shoot in Budapest, Prague, London, Spain and France, booking through through Niki’s Models and BrillBabes and then booking scenes on her own. Now a U.S. resident since relocating to Colorado Springs, Colo., in late 2020, the 25-year-old star tells AVN that fans will soon be seeing a lot more of her as she makes the rounds for more high-profile American studios. “Most of the productions are here, so I was shooting for American production in Europe and everybody said, ‘You need to go to the States, you’re going to work more. Porn in the States is better.’ So I just want to try and see,” Marica says. “Actually, it’s pretty nice. Even the guys, the actors here are pretty nice.” Marica says she is not afraid of hard work. “If you put me the bookings, I’m gonna be like every day, no problem, I’m a fucking work machine,” says Chanelle, who shot her second scene for Brazzers in Los Angeles in December, taking on Lucas Frost in a "Nuru Massage" scene that released earlier this month. She made her ZZ debut in 2019 opposite Danny D in a tryst titled "Naughty Nurse's First Day." Among the U.S. producer/directors now at the top of her wishlist is Jonni Darkko. “Because he shoot some scenes that are very clean and the girl looks amazing,” Marica says. “I don’t know how he do that but those scenes they’re like super shiny and I was like damn, I want to do that. I really want to work for him.” Marica admits that a being an adult actress is not as easy as it may look. “It’s very difficult to stay in the industry, to keep booking, to keep shooting,” she says. “There are a lot of new girls, there is a lot of competition. It’s definitely not like everybody thinking that it’s just shooting and that’s it. There is a process…” One of her favorite scenes so far is with Luca Ferrero for BangBros’ BigTitCreampie.com. Overall Chanelle says she has zero regrets about her decision to become an adult star. “Of course we change the life for sure and it’s going to be like permanent. People will look different at you but I don’t regret it,” Marica explains. “I will never go back and change it. I’m not that type of person. I just look forward even if sometimes it was hard at first, especially in Italy, which is very conservative. “I was getting emails from weird people. Like, ‘You’re slut, you need god,' stuff like that, very creepy. Friends they don’t want to hang out with you anymore because you do porn. “It’s different when you look at porn on your screen and you have an actual person who do it in front of you. People are judgmental. It definitely is not easy, even for relationships. But it’s definitely worth it. You get rid of a lot of fake people.” Marica adds, “I don’t feel ashamed at all. When I go around, I’m in the adult industry and I’m an adult actress and if someone don’t like it, it’s your opinion. It doesn’t affect me. I don’t give a fuck, I don’t like you either…” But Marica likes what she sees in Colorado thus far. “It’s beautiful and the people are very nice to me, even if they can see if I’m foreign,” she says. “It can be a little bit crazy in another country.” When she isn’t on the set, she is “very chill.” “I do stuff like work out, going to the beach or hiking. It’s very relaxing,” Marica says. “There are nice hot springs in Colorado with mineral water that makes your skin really pretty nice. I do stuff like that just to relax."
