DomtheNation Adapts 'Don Giovanni' With Opera Singer Julie July

NEW YORK—Two-Flame Media takes a page from Mozart's renowned opera Don Giovanni for Act I of its experimental new production Sodomy of the Good Girl, available now on its website DomtheNation.com. Starring real-life opera singer Julie July (the nom de porn she chose for the site), the scene is based on the opera's aria "Batti, batti, o bel Masetto," in which the character Zerlina pleads with her partner Masetto to beat her when he confronts her with his belief that she's been unfaithful to him. While in the original version, he declines her pleas, here Masetto (embodied by master rigger Leto) enthusiastically manifests them, complete with the sodomy of the title ... all while she sings her repentance.  "DomtheNation aims to celebrate the full humanity of people who enjoy BDSM, with particular emphasis on the broad multiplicity of thoughts and feelings that possess us while engaging in play," site producer Lawrence Neil said.
