Centro U, APAG to Hold Social Media Censorship Webinar Weds, May 12

Adult influencer network FanCentro is hosting an interactive webinar for adult performers, influencers and other sex workers on Wednesday, May 12 at 11AM Pacific time /2pm Eastern in conjunction with the Adult Performance Artist Guild (APAG).

The panel for the “Staying Safe on Social” webinar will discuss social media censorship and how adult influencers can stay safe on social media. The webinar will be hosted by CentroU instructor MelRose Michaels and feature APAG President Alana Evans, APAG VP Ruby, APAG Secretary Kelly Pierce, Marketing and Business Consultant Amberly Rothfield and APAG legal counsel Jim Felton.

“It’s extremely important for influencers to understand what rights they have when they’re using various social media platforms,” said FanCentro VP Kat Revenga. “Without fully knowing what your rights are, it’s impossible to protect them, so we partnered with the wonderful team at APAG to give influencers the tools they need to protect themselves and their content.”

Evans and APAG have been in direct negotiations with Instagram and other social media companies and have gotten clear direction on what influencers and other sex workers need to do to avoid ‘shadowbans’ and account suspensions. During the webinar APAG’s leadership will share what they’ve learned and what adult influencers need to know to stay safe.

Influencers can share their questions about how to stay safe on social in advance by visiting https://go.fancentro.com/StayingSafeWithAPAG and their questions will be covered by the panelists, who will also be taking live questions during the webinar. Those interested should register for the webinar by visiting CentroUniversity.com or by clicking here.
