Flirt4Free 2020 Flirt of the Year Winners Announced

Cam network Flirt4Free has announced the winners of its annual, 3-month Flirt of the Year competition, which in 2020 ran from October 1 through December 31. The contest features some of the web’s top cam models vying for their share of a prize pool that typically exceeds $300,000.

As Flirt explained in its announcement, the competition is divided into several sub-contests that “grade a model’s year on overall performance, their rank within a specific region or level of experience, or within categories that match their strengths.” Payouts in these categories range from $50 to $2,000.

Among the sub-contests is the “Overall” competition, which is judged based on year-long credits earned. For 2020, the Miss Flirt of the Year title was awarded to Eva Sin, whose “3-peat as Flirt Champion marks the continuation of a cam dynasty,” the company said in its announcement.

“Flirt of the Year is such an honor,” Sin said of her victory in the competition. “I’m blessed with the support of the most amazing fans, and a cam site that appreciates what I do. I want to say thank you to all for my beautiful awards!”

On the men’s side of the ledger, this year’s Mister Flirt of the Year title went to BelAmi boy Paul Morisette.

In its announcement, Flirt described the Viewer’s Choice sub-contest as the “crown jewel” of the event.

In the Viewer’s Choice category, fans cast free votes or purchased “Super Votes” to elect their champions. In past years, the largest prizes of FOTY went to the overall winners in this contest. This year, however, Flirt added “a thrilling new twist.”

“We broke down some of the biggest Viewer’s Choice prizes into seven 2-week-long rounds,” explained Jamie Rodriguez, F4F’s Director of Product. “In each round, the prizes got bigger, but the number of winning places shrank.”

The results were based purely on 2-weeks of voting. According to Rodriguez, this gave more models the chance to participate, kept a wider range of fans engaged throughout the promo, and still awarded those models who ground it out for all 3 FOTY months.

The site also introduced a series of “prestigious royal titles” for models with highest vote totals as of December. Morisette doubled down for Flirt of the Year, adding 2020 King of Flirts to his long list of accolades.

For the girls, the Queen of Flirts crown went to South American breakout star Mia Smiths.

“It’s hard to put into words how thankful we are to our performers for what they did in this strange, hectic year,” Rodriguez added. “With so many fans stuck at home and going online, they really stepped up their games, bringing entertainment and companionship to many, while also turning 2020 into a success for our brand.”
