Str8UpGayPorn's 'Best Of 2020' Fan Voting Has Begun

HOLLYWOOD, Calif.—Popular gay porn site Str8UpGayPorn has announced its list of nominees for Str8UpGayPorn's "Best of 2020" online fan voting. The Str8UpGayPorn Awards has been put on hold this year due to COVID-19, and is being replaced with the largest fan vote happening in gay porn this year on Str8UpGayPorn.com, with voters being able to cast their ballots until Dec. 19. Str8UpGayPorn's "Best of 2020" includes 14 fan-voted categories, which its promoters acknowledge is down from the nearly 30 categories considered for the Str8UpGayPorn Awards live show, where more than half of the awards are voted on by a panel of 12 judges from gay media and the gay adult film industry. While Str8UpGayPorn’s "Best Of 2020" isn’t the Str8UpGayPorn Awards—there’s no red carpet, no celebrity host, and no opening of any envelopes— many of the same categories will be presented, including staples like Performer Of The Year and Best Actor. Some new categories have also been added, including Best Fantasy Boyfriend and Best Quarantine Themed Scene. Editor and co-owner Zach Sire stated, "We had big plans to keep evolving the Str8UpGayPorn Awards into something even greater for 2021, but due to COVID, it's not going to happen just yet. We still wanted to do something to honor the best of the year and let our huge fanbase of readers online determine every winner in our 'Best of 2020' categories". The nominations cover movies and scenes released between Nov. 1, 2019 and Oct. 31, 2020. Str8UpGayPorn’s "Best Of 2020" winners will be determined solely by fan voting over the next several weeks. Voting began yesterday evening and has racked up more 10,000 votes in less than 24 hours.
