Fresh Faces: Kylie Rocket

LOS ANGELES—Most don’t expect to turn their job at Chick-fil-A into a career, but likely even fewer leave the chicken sandwich fast-fooder to join the adult industry. However, we do know at least one who has done the latter: Kylie Rocket. The barely-legal Latina beauty from Jacksonville, Florida, harbored the fantasy of being a porn star from a too-young age. She especially enjoyed lesbian porn and in high school she developed a fetish for the teacher-student setup, fueling a fantasy she would not fulfill because, she says, “I didn’t want to ruin their lives.” That early-onset maturity has certainly made the 18-year-old’s entrance into the adult industry smoother. Working at Chick-fil-A in high school took more of her time than she liked. She quickly became a top employee and then training director, but all that work and no play took a toll on both her social life and her health. She knew there was more out there for her. “I didn’t want to live the rest of my life stuck there when I knew I had so much more potential,” she says. “I started porn because something inside my head told me to just do it. I never viewed porn as such a bad thing.” The adult industry has given her the opportunity to play with some of the fantasies she had while working for the chicken purveyors, including that teacher-student relationship she never got to capitalize on in high school, even though there’s little doubt she could have if she’d been just a little more sinister. “My favorite scenes to shoot are definitely when I have a sugar daddy or when I’m fucking a teacher, or just someone a little older than me,” she says. “I always tend to be the dominant character is these types of scenes and I love that. I’m such a sucker for men a little older than me, like 35-40s, that the scenes always turn out amazing with them.” Since the Motley Models star-in-the-making is so young and fresh to the industry, one of the inevitable questions has to be about the parents finding out about her porn career and how they took it. Fortunately for the whole Rocket clan, it went pretty well, even if Kylie’s mom didn’t find out the way Kylie would have hoped. (Fun fact: They usually don’t.) “My mom said if I wanted to be a porn star she won’t care, because the moment I walk through her door I’m her daughter, not Kylie Rocket,” Kylie says. “My sisters are honestly my biggest fans, especially my oldest sister. She was mad at first because I didn’t tell her before I started, but she was honestly excited for me because she could tell how happy I was when I told her about it. I do hate the way my mom found out: After my first scene came out, an ex-best friend of mine was still mad at me for fucking her boyfriend—which she also told my mom about—she and her mom went to my mom’s house and showed my mom my video. My mom defended me and said I could do whatever I wanted.” There is another family matter that no doubt she will be asked about again and again no matter how long the answer stays the same: her twin. “I do have a twin sister. Sadly you guys will never see her in a video, I would never allow that. And she would never ever ever even consider doing it. We’re total opposites, she’s more calm and mom-like, while I have energy like a puppy and fun aunt-like.” Kylie has found comfort in her adult industry experience. She says she loves everything about it: work on your own schedule, have fun, meet cool people, and, she says, it has helped her become a stronger person. As she has more experiences in the industry—like her recent move from Florida to Los Angeles—she is making more goals for herself. “My top goal in the industry is to eventually become one of the – if not the – most famous porn stars ever. After a few years of being in the industry I also want to create my own agency and perhaps one day air my own reality TV show.
