AVN Stars Spotlight: Temptress Blair

LOS ANGELES—There’s a fetish for literally everyone and everything, so the increasing popularity of the FinDom segment should surprise no one. It’s certainly paying off for Temptress Blair, a 23-year-old who has become a popular purveyor of this particular fetish. And it’s making her some decent dough, too. For the uninitiated, “FinDom” is short for “financial domination.” For a more extension description, and because this particular one is kind of fun, Wikipedia gets the honors: “A sexual fetish, in particular a practice of dominance and submission, where a submissive (money slave, finsub, paypig, human ATM, or cash piggy) will give gifts and money to a financial dominant (money mistress, findomme, money domme or cash master).” In Temptress Blair’s case, she doesn’t even get undressed for the process. Ever. In a world that has already moved largely online, she often never sees them in person, either. She dominates them electronically, tells them what she wants—money—and they hand it over. But it’s the in-person transactions that really get her off. “I enjoy online interactions, but I also love dominating men in person via sessions or cashmeets,” she says. “A cashmeet is where a sub/slave and I will meet at an ATM, or any other location and they give me money—I require $500+ for cashmeets—or they withdraw that amount from the ATM and give it to me. Then they go away, these are some of my favorite sessions.” Sound like about the greatest job ever? It clearly appealed to Blair, who says it fit her personality. In fact, her first exposure to this type of life may have played out in high school, though at the time she was still a few years from putting it all together. “Growing up I’ve always been seen as having a very domineering personality,” says Temptress Blair, whose AVN Stars handle is @worshipblair. “I can recall a specific situation where in high school I would bully this guy repeatedly, not sure why to be honest, I can’t recall. A year later he begged me to be his boyfriend and would spoil me and buy me things all the time. I guess I can say I was meant to be doing this.” She didn’t immediately get into findom after high school. Instead she went into healthcare, something she says she is still passionate about. She hopes to one day create a foundation that runs off the donations of her subs/slaves “as a way for them to pay their reparations, and also contribute to helping and bettering the Black community.” She came around to FinDom through Twitter. She had long known BDSM and domination, but it was a tweet that caught her eye and changed her life. “I saw a Black Domme dog walking her white sub at a public event and was really intrigued by it,” she remembers. “She mentioned how he paid a large amount to be publicly humiliated and how he worships, embraces and sends for her dominance and blackness. The thought of dominating a man in a power and control dynamic was really exciting so I went for it. I’ve learned a lot in my journey being a financial dominatrix and my subs/slaves have taught me a lot as well.” While most of Temptress’ clients do happen to be white men, she says she is an equal opportunity FinDom. “I take and deserve all men’s money,” she says. “Most of my clients/slaves are white males ranging in the age of 20-75 or older and have a love for the New World Black Order, also embracing blackness and supporting the Black community.” Let’s not forget, she does this without even taking her clothes off. A look at her AVN Stars profile, where she ranked #41 at the time of this writing, or her Twitter feed, and there are sexy shots for sure. Yet she stays in character—to the degree it is a character—without a moment of, say, slipping up with a photo from a weekend outing with friends with cute emoticons. The closest one will find to that is a video of her out drinking beer at a table with unseen friends captioned, “sold this video to a white slave for $100 of My friend and I laughing at him, enjoy xoxo.” One recent Tweet read: “it’s actually embarrassing how disappointing and predictable you subs are. typical shit for the male race though.” Many are accompanied by Temptress in various states of sexy dress, or with no photo at all. Don’t even ask to see her naked. While the relationships are mutual and with consent, she makes the rules and her subs follow those rules or she cuts them off. As she puts it: “My desires matter, not theirs, but I do keep them in mind in order to continue to get what I want. “I stay clothed because it is my personal choice,” she adds. “I do not believe any of my subs/slaves are worthy of seeing me naked. It also shows my own personal level of dominance that I exude that I can take everything a man is worth without taking my clothes off. “Men want to give me their money because of the energy I exude, and because of who I am as a person.
