Fresh Faces: Selena Love

LOS ANGELES—“I was on Instagram one day and I came across this place that was for ‘modeling,’” Selena Love says. "I found out later on that it was porn. It said ‘glam modeling’ so I thought lingerie, bathing suit. When I found out it was porn I did a month of research before I came out and did it, but I wasn't experiencing it so I decided to go see what it's about. And I did.” She shot her first scene in April, for Exploited College Girls. “It was actually really fun,” Love says. “The people that I worked with were really nice. It was overall a great experience, and I like the way it turned out. I did a lot of firsts that day. It was my first time in a Porsche; I gave road head and had sex in a Porsche. I thought that was pretty cool. I squirted, and I had never done that from somebody fingering me. Pretty cool.” Love, who is represented for bookings by Foxxx Modeling, says she's still learning her craft: "I'm a shy person, so it took a little while for me to break out of my shell, and dirty-talk. Now that I'm working more often I hear it a lot. Within a couple scenes I started getting better and now, I do it.” She still lives in Pennsylvania (“If you ever saw the show ‘The Office,’ it's set in Scranton, and that's about 30 minutes from where I live.”) but “I visit L.A. pretty often, at least once a month.” Some of the people she went to school with have found out about her current job: “They'll text me and they'll try to be nonchalant and ask, ‘What are you doing for a living?’ — but they know. I'm like, ‘Yeah, I do modeling’… [laughter]” Her mother is supportive, to a point. “She doesn't want to hear about it, but she supports me. I still tell her stories and she just laughs.” Looking ahead, Love says, “I'm looking forward to bettering myself in my acting, and working with bigger companies so I can get my name out there more. There are some newer girls I've taken an interest in; I'd like to work with them. My first time sleeping with a girl was recently. That's when I knew I'm definitely bi. “Once I get over my shyness, I'm a happy, bubbly person. I come with good energy, good vibes.
