AASECT Awards ‘Jessica Drake’s Guide to Wicked Sex: Senior Sex’

LOS ANGELES—Jessica Drake wears a lot of hats—sex educator, activist, humanitarian, and Wicked Pictures star—and she, along with author, speaker, and ageless sexuality advocate Joan Price have just been voted as the recipients of the 2020 AASECT Audio-Visual Award for Jessica Drake's Guide to Wicked Sex: Senior Sex. The collaborative and explicit sex education film was the first of its kind to feature non-actors in its demonstrations and narratives and was produced and distributed by Wicked Pictures. The American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) is a not-for-profit, interdisciplinary professional organization. In addition to sexuality educators, sexuality counselors and sex therapists, AASECT members include physicians, nurses, social workers, psychologists, allied health professionals, clergy members, lawyers, sociologists, marriage and family counselors and therapists, family planning specialists and researchers, as well as students in various relevant professional disciplines. These individuals share an interest in promoting understanding of human sexuality and healthy sexual behavior. The presentation of the AASECT awards and scholarships will take place during AASECT’s Virtual Summit, Friday, June 5, 2020 beginning at 2 PM Central Time/Noon Pacific Time. The AASECT Audio-Visual Award is given to the producer(s) of a film, video or DVD that makes a significant contribution to AASECT's vision of sexual health and to the clinical and educational standards of the field. Previous recipients include Scenarios USA for House Not Home (2016), Jallen Rix, EdD for Lewd and Lascivious (2014), and Chris Arnold and Mark Schoen, PhD, CSE for TRANS (2012).
