Amberly Rothfield Gets Cash To Creators On AVN Stars, Here’s How

LOS ANGELES—Saying, “I want to be the person I wish I had when I was starting out, or even just at low periods in my life,” adult content creator, author, and industry marketing specialist Amberly Rothfield has created a program to put cash in the pockets of clip creators via the AVN social media platform AVN Stars.  “I am extremely passionate about this service because I know what it is like to feel down and out,” Rothfield told AVN.com in an email interview. “It is easy as a top-earning creator to get wrapped up in your next moves. For me, the next move was to try and spread hope, create some laughs, spread some wealth.” So far, the author of the downloadable book, How I Made $10,000 A Month As A Phone Sex Operator, says she has donated $2,250 to clip creators through AVN Stars.  Here’s how it works, for creators looking to get an extra $20 or so thrown their way. “The process is very easy, (creators) just have to set up their banking information and of course, send in the required information that proves they are of age,” Rothfield told AVN. The next step is to join the site’s live stream each Friday at 9 p.m. Eastern Time.   “They do not have to follow me or anything (though clearly appreciated),” she said. “Once in the stream, just toss out their page URL and we will go to it, check them out, buy a clip or tip them!” Rothfield says that she chose AVN Stars to carry out her donation program, after she “fell head over heels for the site.”  “I love the Explore feature, so I can see what others are doing and converse with them,” she said. “I love that unlike Twitter, we can pay each other and more importantly, the community.” A “clip creator, audio artist, webcam model and phone sex operator for 15 years,” Rothfield has gone on to teach others, through online videos on her AVN Stars page, about how to succeed in self-marketing within the adult industry. But her new program is an even more direct way of giving back to creators who find themselves in the same position she was in at the start of her career. “I am extremely passionate about this service because I know what it is like to feel down and out. I came from nothing into this industry, homeless and 18. I dug myself out of the dirt with very little outside help,” she said in her email, adding that in addition to providing clip creators with cash, she also hopes “to let them know that I see them. Isn't that what we all want at the end of the day? To be seen and heard!”
