Hailing from the United Kingdom, Goddess Kitty embarked on her career as a fetish content producer and findomme by chance. She recalls, “I started by chance in the industry. As I sat at my desk job, bored of the monotony, I googled ‘how to make money.’ One method was selling used underwear, and from that came camming and videos, and then clips. I started in the vanilla side, but I soon became bored with it and moved into fetish and domination.” She fuels her fans’ devotion with a steady stream of content. “I tend to do a lot of ass worship clips, because I have a big ol' booty! It's definitely my best physical asset, according to my subs,” she asserts. “I also love making really unusual, creative clips, and put an artistic flair onto erotica. When did you start producing and selling your own content? Do you remember the first clip you shot?I started making content in 2017, and the first clip was of me painting my toenails. Looking back at those first clips, they are very awkward and embarrassing but I soon really flourished once I found my own style of clips. Do you remember the first time you became aware of findomme?I think I was browsing Twitter, and I came across Dommes like Violet Doll, Divine Goddess Jessica, and London Lix. I was really curious about the fetish, and began exploring the psychology behind it. Do you collaborate with any other people when you create content?I've collaborated with a few other Dommes and have content with Reverend Taura and Dommelia. You use multiple platforms to sell content. Do you find that each platform attracts different potential customers?Absolutely. In fact, when I film content I will usually film it with the target audience of a certain platform in mind, and know that it might not sell on others.Some platforms are very fetish based, and others are more generic femdom based. It's about knowing your audience and being smart with your content. How did you hear about AVN Stars?I think I first heard about AVN Stars from Violet Doll, and I was curious about it. As AVN is such a big name, I knew that this would be something to sign up to early and sure enough it became very popular very quickly. Of the many ways there are to interact with fans, what is your favorite?I personally prefer using the AVN Stars messaging feature. I find that I've really built a closer relationship with customers, and I love that I can send pictures, videos and PTVs (pay to view) too. Considering the new clip store feature coming soon, AVN is now a whole package for me. You recently were at the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo. Had you attended before?It was a trip full of firsts! First time at AVN Adult Entertainment Expo, first time at an adult convention, and first time in Vegas! I had such a wonderful time, and I truly can't wait until next year to go back. You’re based in the United Kingdom. What differences do you see between the adult industry there and in the U.S.?I think it's harder being based in the UK, as many customers are from the USA. It can make it difficult with the time difference to book webcam sessions, but of course my subs simply have to session with me at my convenience, not theirs. What advice would you give to a new performer who is looking to become a content producer? Know your strengths, and know your audience. Submissive men are simple creatures and once you really understand their mindset, you can make content that the customer wants to buy rather than what you think they want to buy. Your customers are your biggest tool in gaining insight, and the more you interact with them, the more knowledge you'll gain. And always know your worth—don’t be afraid to take risks and seek out opportunities. What is the biggest misconception people have about the adult entertainment industry?That people in the adult industry are any different from normal people. Although it's slightly unusual, at the end of the day this is our job. We pay our tax, volunteer our time, and are some of the most down-to-earth and caring people you will meet. Our life isn't all glitz and glamour—we go through hard times just like anyone else. As a parting note, I would love to see the industry continue to grow in novel and exciting ways. I'm a very creative person, and absolutely adore making artistic, erotic and downright unusual content. When I finish making a creative clip, which usually take 50-plus hours to edit, I get such a sense of personal accomplishment and I love sharing my eclectic side with the world.
