Adultcon 2020 Won't Take Place In May; Will Be Rescheduled |
LOS ANGELES‚ CA—The following statement has been received from adult entertainment convention Adultcon: This week California Governor Gavin Newsom signed an executive order forcing all gatherings of 250 or more people statewide to be canceled or postponed to slow the spread of the corona virus. In addition, LA City Mayor Eric Garcetti announced he has also ordered the cancellation of all city gatherings of 50 people or more, and all events or conferences at city-owned properties expected to attract more than 50 people. In light of this news and in keeping with these government directives, Adultcon will postpone its 2020 expo, which had been scheduled for May 1-2-3, 2020 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, due to the concerns surrounding protecting public health and slowing the spread of COVID-19. As we continue to navigate through the COVID-19 situation, we are currently in discussions with the venue to find a date to reschedule Adultcon as soon as possible. In the interim, we encourage all of our participants to stay healthy, be kind citizens and help those in need, and we look forward to seeing everyone very soon. Questions about the Adultcon convention should be emailed to [email protected].
