PleazeMe’s Heather Montgomery Profiled in New Docu 'My Pleasure'

WEST PALM BEACH, FL—PleazeMe.com is a reasonably new social media platform catering to sex-positive attitudes and ideas, and its founder and CEO, Heather C. Montgomery, was interviewed in the new documentary My Pleasure, created by a group of international film students at NYC’s School of Visual Arts. Director Lisa De Neve’s inspiring short film, whose trailer is up now on YouTube, discusses women’s sexuality and personal pleasure in an inspiring and matter-of-fact presentation meant to empower, enlighten and open up a non-judgmental dialogue within the framework of female health and well-being. De Neve explains that “women are learning about sex in a negative way, which has a big influence on the way we perceive it… This documentary is about taking back control by telling the positive stories of three women dealing with sexual difficulties… discussing problems and desires that a lot of women feel like they can’t talk about.” “I am so excited to be a part of Lisa De Neve’s powerful documentary that highlights how sexual trauma and societal double standards affect women’s sexuality,” said Montgomery of the film, which was tentatively set for release March 8 to coincide with International Woman’s Day. “It is so important that we share our stories and encourage others to do the same. Women need to know that they are not alone in their pain, and that we have the right to pursue sexual wellness and pleasure.” The documentary also interviews sexual health advocates Swarnima Singh and Bianca Rogoff, encouraging women to claim their space and ignite discussions about daily wellness and dysfunction, confidence, autonomy, expression and body positivity. “Women’s voices are now stronger and louder than ever. We are making it clear that sex is something to be enjoyed and appreciated without stigma or guilt,” said Montgomery. “Knowledge is power, and people are starting to understand that women approach sex differently than men… We are meant to be different, and it’s time we embrace our desires openly. After all, it’s our pleasure we’re talking about!” To find out more about MyPleasure, click here. To get started on what may just be the erotic journey of a lifetime, visit PleazeMe.com.
