Fresh Faces: Sahara Leone |
This article ran in the February issue of AVN magazine. To see the digital edition, click here. Photo by Keith Ryan. Sahara Leone makes an impression. She's statuesque—5-foot-8 and curvy—and hard to miss when she walks into a room. She hit the ground running in her adult career, shooting an anal scene for Backstage Casting Couch: "Some people say you shouldn't start with anal, but I want my butt to be the focus of my career. It's natural and large. I love the jiggle of my butt, I love the size of my butt, and it gets a lot of attention. Why not make it the focus?" When asked what got her into the industry, she says, "Curiosity. I've always been curious about the adult film industry. I watched porn from a very young age—since before I was supposed to. I put an ad on SexyJobs.com and got contacted by [an agent], and I just dove ... mouth first. I'm a very sexual person, so the sex itself is awesome. It's an added plus. I don’t have boyfriend or an intimate partner in my personal life, so that's nice. The overall experience, like getting to go on a set, it's exciting, it’s thrilling, it's adventurous. I love the acting part of it as well. I've always wanted to act, and now I get a job that gets to put together sex and acting. It's great." She is looking forward to working with Manuel Ferrara ("He makes my skin get goosebumps. He's gorgeous, and his accent ... He's a 10.") and she'd like to shoot an anal gangbang for Tushy.com, "because it's all about the tushy. They're my people." Leone performs stand-up comedy in the San Francisco area, where she lives ("The dirty old Mission District. It's an hour flight. I can get to L.A. faster than some people can cross L.A.") and she's a certified massage therapist. "I'm ready to do nuru massage porn. I've pretty much mastered the technique. I think it's really sexy, and I like the act of sliding when you're oiled up. It's really sensual. And sexy." She likes reading history and biographies, and learning meditation techniques. "When I start my day with meditation, it puts me in such a different headspace. I've seen it manifest itself in my work." She's also a marathon runner: "I was inspired by my mother. She's 68 and she's run more than 100 marathons. I started doing them with her, and I've done four now. It's a great way to keep the body in shape, and connects me with my mom, which is really nice." She also promotes sex positivity: "I'm really active on social media, and it's opened up people to come to me with questions because they're inspired by my boldness. I used to be really shy, not show my boobs—I've gotten over it—but I'm putting a positive word out." Sahara Leone is self-booking. Email her at [email protected] Follow her on Twitter: @saharaleone.
