GingerMFC Featured in October Issue of CAMStar

LOS ANGELES—The MyFreeCams model known as GingerMFC tells AVN she was a “consumer and tipper” before she started camming herself. “For about six months I would watch girls while studying and tip the ones I liked,” Ginger recalls. “Once I started to understand how it worked and how you needed a lot more than just being pretty, I thought… I could actually do this! And now look at me five years later!” To this day GingerMFC still watches other cam girls at least five hours per week—she considers it like “homework.” “Do not rely only on your looks,” Ginger says, offering advice to new models. “People click on you because they like your looks, smile or hair, but they come back for your personality! Be creative and never do things you could regret just for money.” A native of Montreal who now resides in Cancun, GingerMFC worked at an upscale corner store for years before got on cam. Now MFC’s resident “Naked Clown Extraordinaire” says the relationships she has built with her members mean everything to her. “When you can feel someone really cares about you no matter what, it’s pretty amazing,” she says. “It’s also always humbling to realize that they have picked YOU over the other 40,000-plus girls on that website.” In this exclusive Q&A for CAMStar accompanied by 12 pages of photography by Keith Ryan, GingerMFC reveals why she moved south of the border, discusses her affinity for lingerie and red wine, her pursuit of perfection and what it’s like taking care of lots of dogs. For some bonus questions, see below: How did you build your community on MFC?  I think the fact that I watched other girls for a while before jumping in helped me a lot. Of course I made mistakes, but it went well from the start. I was so surprised! As far as building a "community" I think I just roll with the flow. Twitter was probably my biggest tool along with Snapchat. Even after five years, I don’t have a huge following like some girls, but the people who follow me like me for all my craziness. Hopefully this magazine also gives me a little push! How did you develop your camming routine? Haha do I even have one? Step number one is definitely being stressed out. I am a very nervous person. I am super bubbly and people may think I am always happy and relaxed, but noooo… I think a lot of my "extra energy" comes from nerves. I've always been a perfectionist so it’s the same for cam—I put a lot of pressure on myself. Is stressing out for one hour while I get my makeup done considered a camming routine haha? When did you create Ginger’s Card Game? How does the game increase engagement in your room? It started very early in my cam adventure and I can honestly say this game is (after me hehe) the center of my room. We play allll night. It keeps things interesting and is different from any other card games I’ve seen in other girls’ rooms. Super easy to understand, too. It makes people encourage each other and creates relationships between them, which is also great! How do you use MFCShare? Oh I use MFCShare a LOT! Everything is on there. It was a big game-changer for us cam girls. I host all of my videos there and also many bigger goals, which usually tells you what is going on in my life at that moment. For example right now we have been raising a lot of money for the seven dogs I rescued about five months ago. It’s been… an expensive ride, but I’ve had amazing support from my crew. What were you doing on cam when you got your highest tip ever—50,000 tokens—on December 29, 2017? Pretty simple: it was my birthday ? so I was probably sipping champagne and it for sure came out of my nose or something like that haha Who painted those paintings of you and how do you like them? Oh that’s an artist from Canada called Vladimir. I met him for a simple realistic portrait and we ended up drinking quite a bit of wine and talking about many things, including my job. He seemed super open and professional so I asked him to come to my place the next day to do that wonderful semi-nude, full-body drawing called "Canadian beauty,” which was of course inspired by the movie American Beauty, one of my favorite movies of all time. How did your AVN Lingerie Exchange 2019 go? About how many models came? It was amazing! Very good little crew of 7-8 girls came; we all found many things that we liked and I wear many of the things I got that night on cam now! I mean, why not? We all have so much stuff we might not like anymore or that doesn’t fit. Why not share? For the 2020 edition, I am aiming at reuniting and sharing with 20 to 30 other cam models and rent a bigger room for the event. If that goes well, I will try to get MFC itself involved for the 2021 edition! What are your hobbies or interests outside of camming? Animals and YouTube. I'd give anything for animals. I love them all (except ticks, ticks are nasty little devils). Rescuing animals is in my future and I know it. Bring me all the ones that are unwanted. I’ll love and care for them! Now I have to do a quick shoutout to my girl Jenna Marbles who is a famous YouTuber. I’ve been watching her for 10 years now. Her and her boyfriend Julian make my days/weeks better. I think my humor is very similar to theirs. Last thing: contortion. Contortion? Yes, I love to be bendy and spend all the time I can stretching when I’m not injured. It’s a great way to express myself and exercise, even if it can be quite dangerous. Name three things that you love… This will relate a little bit to my home city and country (Montreal, Canada). I love and miss being able to eat food from all over the world. Montreal is so cosmopolitan you can eat food from anywhere very easily and it tastes amazing because it’s often made by immigrants who open restaurants. In Cancun, it’s mostly… Mexican food! I know I might offend some people, but trust me you CAN get very tired of Mexican food haha. I also miss the forests in Canada. That fresh pine smell in the morning aaaahhhh! I love hiking and there’s nothing like it near me right now. The one thing I can tell you I don’t like and absolutely don’t miss is the cold. Hell no. I would never go back to that climate. I am like an iguana who needs sun, sand and some heat to be happy. Who is one person you’ve always wanted to meet and why? I'll go back to Jenna Marbles and Julian Solomita, the YouTubers. They are just so funny and real. I know I’d have the biggest blast with them. Seriously guys watch them, especially their weekly podcast. What is your greatest achievement so far? In the cam world I would say: Getting No. 2 [in the Miss MFC contest] last December, shooting with you at CAMStar and still thriving after five years on MFC! Photography by Keith Ryan
