Pre-Nominations Open for Fan-Voted 2020 AVN Awards at AVN Stars

LOS ANGELES—AVN Media Network is pleased to announce that for the first time in the history of the AVN Awards the general public will be able to pre-nominate their favorite adult performers and cam models for the fan-voted 2020 AVN Awards through the new AVN Stars platform. In order to participate in the pre-nomination process, fans must first sign up for an AVN Stars account here. If you already have an AVN Stars account, then click here to get started. Once you’re logged onto AVN Stars, choose the "AVN Awards Pre-Nominations" selection from the pull-down menu below your profile picture. After selecting “AVN Awards Pre-Nominations,” a model will be able to generate a personalized pre-nomination URL; models can send out the URL and ask their fans to pre-nom them for specific categories that are auto-filled. If models want to create their auto-filled URL, they first will need to have an AVN Stars account—and they also must enable the “I am an AVN Star” designation on their profile by toggling the switch in Settings. When a fan selects “AVN Awards Pre-Nominations” without being linked by a model, he or she will go directly to the pre-nom page where he may pre-nominate any performer or model. However to be clear, it is not required for adult performers or cam models to have an AVN Stars account in order for them to be nominated for a fan-voted AVN Award—an AVN Stars account is only required if a performer or model wishes to generate their own URL to send to their fans. A new category has been added to the fan-voted 2020 AVN Awards—Favorite Domme, based on the enormous popularity of performers specializing in this lucrative niche. Pre-noms for the fan-voted 2020 AVN Awards are open now and will continue until midnight on November 3. The final nominees for the fan-voted AVN Awards will be announced by December 9—at which time live voting will commence.
